But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. [ It's all the warning she gets before Axel ducks into the fancy bathroom. It's warm and steamy and immediately he feels a little like he's stepped into a sauna, but it's not unpleasant. Everything smells a little like magnolias. On one hand he balances a silver platter with tea and little cookies piled up on it, and he uses the other to close the door behind him.

Technically, someone else should probably be doing this. Someone like Xion or Naminé, but the lines of privacy between them have... blurred, since sharing all that time alone in the forest. Axel is fully aware that he'd probably get the third degree from literally anyone else if they knew, but he's never said anything and as far as he knows— Kairi hasn't either.
