Kamala coughed, waving the potion fumes aside as she stumbled out of the lab. At least the fumes were dissipating and the perp hadn't gotten away. She had cuffed the guy and she and Chloe had gotten away and the pair were safely in a copse of trees as she waved away the last remaining fumes.

"Seems like that was the last of them," she said with a deep breath, exhaling the breath as she looked eyes on Chloe... who looked really appealing to her. I mean, really, really appealing. No joke.

"Um..." she tugged at her costume collar. "Is it just warm today in Jersey or is it just me?"

"...It's not you. You accidentally knocked over my project when we were getting away." Chloe noted while letting out a sigh of relief. She could always remake it, so she wasn't mad at Kamala for what occurred. Accidents happen in their line of work, and this one? Wasn't too problematic.

"But, on another note...you ever think about embiggening your boobs, or maybe even your butt? You look great, but if you did you'd look even better." Chalk it up to the fumes lingering somewhat, but either way Chloe was caressing Kamala's face and ensuring she didn't look away.

Not even for a second.

"Balance issues," replied Kamala. "I already tried it once before and I almost fell over."

She was blushing, but she didn't look away either as Kamala brought her hand up to her cheek as she said, "Chloe...? Are we... going to just...?"

Every fiber in her body was screaming yes, and for some reason nothing about it seemed weird to her.

Okay, that bit of heroics could have gone better!

[Ruby and Kamala has easily swept up those thieves, but sheesh did they get rough there. And now the two were relaxing on a rooftop trying not to lay on one of their bruises.]

[Kamala grinned sheepishly at Ruby, as she leaned back and sighed as she de-transformed in a flash of light as she groaned deeply.]

Well, nothing to do but limp home and get this looked at. Mom's got this great salve that'll do work on our bruises. Dad'll give us a berating for being reckless but he's just concerned to be honest.

Do we have to go now? I’m still tired! All that fighting was exhausting!

If we don't leave soon, we're going to be out after curfew, and the last thing I want to be is outside of the house after that. It's bad enough mom and dad know I'm a superhero.

...all right, morning stock take.

She's in her own bed. Good. ...not alone, though, and the other person is neither pack nor family. Also she's naked. ...they both are. Well. Tuuli finally properly opens her eyes at that, rolls over, and squints against the morning light shining through the window to get a better look of the other person in the bed.

Kenzie is still asleep, her head buried in the pillow once the crook of Tuuli's arm moves, displacing her. There's a sleepy, annoyed little grumble and she rolls over, trying to pull herself closer to the warm woman beside her.

"...hnn..." She makes a quiet noise, still stirring from sleep.

Tuuli doesn't stop the other woman ...Kenzie, some part of her brain supplies - from rolling closer. There's no good reason to mind, really. Cuddles are nice.

Though they are a bit weird when you barely know the other person. How exactly did they get to this point? They must've gotten back to her house somehow... "Bob and Colin, probably..." she mutters, barely audible, as she reaches out to try and arrange her duvet better over and around them. Half for the sake of warmth, half for the sake of decency just in case. Small children reside in this house, they don't necessarily knock and she has no idea if the door is locked. Or even closed properly. Though she does dearly hope for at least the latter.

Not that she worries too much, Kenzie too nice and soft and warm against her, the morning sun filtering through the curtains too gentle, the house too quiet. Right now, things are just comfortable. Any kind of complication that may await can be dealt with later.

Kenzie stays as she is for another ten or fifteen minutes, dozing contently against Tuuli before she finally starts to stir herself into proper wakefulness. It's a slow process and when she finally seems to come back to actually being awake, she blinks a few times, surrounded by warmth and comfortable skin against skin.

"Mmf..." She makes a sleepy noise, shifts a hand to rub at one eye to try and clear away some of the sleep still lingering.

"G'morning..." Tuuli. Right. "...Tuuli." She stretches, winces. "...Fuck, I think I got some bruises last night. Worth it." She's rather nonplussed about waking up in a stranger's bed. Something she's done before, no doubt. She leans over to kiss against Tuuli's shoulder, affectionate.

"Sleep okay?"

An appreciative hum is the only answer, sounding more or less in agreement. She slept fine. "Mmmmh." She had, in fact, been dozing off again, and Kenzie's words woke her back up.

There's worse ways of waking up. "You?" She tries to lazily pet the other woman's head with a hand, fails, and opts for running it over her bare shoulder again. It falls away to pull the blanket up a bit higher.
