Midnight; and the clock strikes. It is Christmas Day, the werewolves' birthday, the door of the solstice stands wide open; let them all sink through.

See! sweet and sound she sleeps in granny's bed, between the paws of the tender wolf. ✧

Should you really be in a place like this? You're a good kid, and this the deep, dangerous woods - literally or metaphorically. Here, there be dragons; more accurately, here their be wolves, of the big and bad variety, hungry to the core. And they're waiting for pretty young things, especially those in red hoods, because they want to gobble you up. But not with teeth and with claws (not usually), for they can lure you to your destruction in delectable, devious, wicked ways.

You way want that, though. That may be why you're here in the first place. You're not so pure, are you? Then again...you may be the wolf yourself. What you're after is the hunt, the prey you know you can swallow whole.

✧ HOW TO PLAY

✦ Pretty obviously, this meme is based off of the fairytale of Little Red Riding Hood, which has commonly been interpreted to be about sexual awakening and seduction. It's also inspired by the short story "In the Company of Wolves" by Angela Carter, which is worth a read.
✦ Feel free to play this scenario as completely straight (ie characters with wolf ears, werewolves, literal fairytale settings) or as allegorical (a young, inexperienced character going into a bar full of bikers, etc).
✦ Similarly, bring along any kinks you'd enjoy. Underage/lolita, non-con, dub-con, fully consensual, knotting, animal mating drives, the list goes on and on. You can do pretty much anything.
✦ Reply with your character, preferences, and what role they'll take: Big Bad Wolf (or not so bad wolf, as it may be) or Little Red.

When the war finally happened, it came quick. Both sides lost many in its ferociousness. The problem was that the humans had more number, the nukes helped with that but also contributed to the grey sky and cold in the air. Humanity, in both of its pinnacle species was reduced to living in a pre industrial age.

An age many did not know how to navigate.

They died.

The predators won. This that were capable, not simply with defending themselves, but caring for themselves, feeding themselves, and sheltering themselves.

And those they chose to share with.

Sometimes that came at a cost. Barter if you will. Other times it was freely given. Though unfortunately sometimes it was simply taken.

Ace was a member of the foremost. He had a code, though he was practical. His operation was small in number but they were loyal and well trained. Of that he did not budge. This cold night, it was a party of sorts. A couple of bucks were taken and they were roasting over the fire. A mix of Bottled and home brewed liquor flowed, as well as the handcrafted beer. Breads were passed as well as some cheese. After all those that know…

He’d prefer to be on the floor with the rest, but some insisted his table be just a bit higher. His chair a little larger, his place a little bigger.

The mutant was not a fan, nor would he look it for any that managed entry in which they called a Hall. Something he wouldn’t notice off hand in all likely hood as he pondered this fit of fate he found himself within.

Devi, like many other civilians of Earth, had thought the political posturing of Governments were nothing more then that, no real threat of action beyond shaking fists over a UN table. When the conflicts rose into proper war and the planet bombed into a new form of Hell, Devi had reverted into something she didn't know she was possible of being.

Her knives, once kept sharp to keep her save on the streets were sharpened and used to get the once-purple haired artist ahead in a new savage world. The days had blended in with each other enough so that the artist found herself lost, moving through the necessary motions to get through her days without much real life to be found in it.

How she found herself in this - Devi struggled to label them, the variety of souls and the tastes of dead culture and personality they provided, powered and non-powered, though the normies earned more of Devi's respect then anyone else for being there despite their frightfully small number, but she ambled towards 'Moshposh' of people, a wonderful savage melting pot of peoples. How she found herself here was a mystery, despite her living the days, and it was something to be considered.

Devi sat at the edges of the floor, just close enough to enjoy the fire without really sitting 'with' people. She'd found a bit of blank paper on the last raid they'd all gone one, and with the bits of wood that were used as kindling were perfect to substitute for charcoal pencil.

Her subject? The man the group had basically elected as their leader. He was quiet and seemingly reluctant to take the mantel that the group had granted him. Devi didn't blame them for their choice; Ace had lead them successfully more then a few times now, proving his mettle in battle and strategy. It earned him respect from the group and from Devi too, who'd hopefully proved her worth.

She doubted he'd note her glances towards him as she worked on sketch, and was happy to hang on the edges, glad enough to have found people that accepted her and her odd and newfound skills.

He had enough of being up and away those that followed him. Ace had his fill, for now at least and stood. The others deserved the this little party. I had been a rough go lately and the successful hunt was just what the doctor ordered. Though for him it wasn't quite enough.

Ace started moving through the crowd of forty to 50 mutants and humans, speaking to each. It may just be a simple comment, or an inquiry on some matter he knew concerned them. He gave each a piece of time. It was here he spotted the newest addition to the group. One he didn't know that well. What was her name? Ahhh Devi, the lithe woman that moved like lightning. He had witnessed her actions in several fights and he liked the way she moved. He spent a moment wondering how she moved in other settings. A bit of a grin at that and he went to find a couple of beers.

Here she may have lost track of him and he used the screen of those assembled to approach her from behind, he steps soundless ( after he was not above using his powers in such matters). "You know, you don't have to hang out by yourself Devi."

He squatted down and set one of the bottles next to her. Noting her scribbling. "What are ya working on."
