Food.. food! [She chirps this out happily, legs swinging as she watches the lady place the plate of cheeseburger and fries on the table. She's drooling, fidgeting on her chair. Before she can stop herself she reaches over and plucks a fry from Killua's plate before he could even start on his own meal. She yips and squeaks in pain, shuffling the fry from hand to hand urgently.] H-Hot! [She yells this in Korean, frantically blowing on it before stuffing the fry in her mouth. She makes a face when the fry still scalds her tongue and Yobi lets out a groan of dismay.] Ya..!

it's burned my tongue.. [Despite this she licks her lips and reaches over to snag another. She grins at Killua then, her smile all sharp- eyes crinkling into crescents. Her facial features would look reminiscent of that of a fox, in a weird sort of way. Everything about her looked animal in nature, right down to her pigtails which resembled ears.]

The meat looks good.. [She dips her head down to stare at the cheeseburger wantonly, legs swinging a little.]

Heyyy! [Killua scowls as Yobi reaches for his fries, then snarls his teeth a little as she juggles the hot fry, and finally, deflates with a sigh as she burns her mouth. he rolls his eyes. typical.] That's what happens...

[he's not truly annoyed at her, either—he likes Yobi. he thinks she's cool. and even though she isn't technically a human child, she really feels like one. it makes Killua feel a little less lonely in this place, so they tend to hang out often. she reminds him of his little sister, and her goofiness reminds him of his best friend.

then she makes that face, a face Killua knows well (as he often makes it himself); he immediately tenses on guard, eyes going wide. Killua's fingertips slowly rest on the edge of his plate, grinning back at his friend.]

Aaaahh, doesn't it? Too bad, you shoulda ordered your own.

[she could of course have some if she wanted, but Killua feels like being a brat.]

[An exasperated expression forms on her face, eyes widening. She grumbles underneath her breath, picking some lint off her red tanktop.] Killua! [Yobi slumps on the table, still staring at the burger intently.] You know I don't have any money on me.. [She had the misfortune of living off what she could hunt down from a nearby forest. She didn't really have a place to call home, unfortunately. Yobi knew that by now she would have left this city behind, not looking back, never drifting for too long. It's a routine she's done for years, decades even. She wasn't human and she didn't age as a normal person did- staying in one place for too long was risky.

She stuck around far longer than she would have liked, the current thing keeping her in this place sitting right across from her. She eyes Killua for a moment, expression thoughtful. She wasn't sure what it was but there was something about him that made her stay, if only for him. Her expression turns wistful, sad even as she remembers a boy from long ago. A boy that she couldn't save. Hwang Geum-ee.. what do I do? aii.. Yobi is quick to wipe that look off her face though before the boy could see it. No sense in making him worry, especially since such expressions on Yobi were rare.]

Not fair. [One hand begins to sneak over to his plate again. She plucks a fry which she quickly gobbles down.] We can share! The burger is really big.. [She makes a chopping motion with her hand.] Cut it in half! C'mon. [She decides to turn it up a notch, eyes widening, lips pursing into an adorable pout. She had the 'kitten-eyed' expression down perfectly.] I like Killua a lot!

In the wholeeeeeeeee world! [She shouts this out loudly and without shame. Loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. Some people glance over, smiling and giggling about how cute the two kids were, some muttering about 'puppy love.' Yobi just wanted some food and she was willing to use any tactics to get it. Her words were genuine though, easily so.]

[Killua forgets poor people exist sometimes. he grew up as a prodigal heir (not that he wants that) to one of the richest families in the world, then got his hunter's license. there's never really been a time his pockets have been totally dry. there's been spots where he didn't have much money on him from weeks of bumming around uselessly, but... he forgets sometimes it's like that all the time for people. he blinks at Yobi. then he raises his shoulders when she steals another couple fries.]

Hey! Yeah, well, my appetite is crazy, you know. I'm growing and I train a lot—!

[he blinks again when she loudly declares her feelings, and his face immediately flushes pink, always terrible at receiving compliments or affection from people so frankly.]

D-don't be so loud!! You're only saying that cuz you want my food!

[everyone heard. Killua is totally embarrassed. he doesn't intend to not let Yobi eat; he'll just get her a burger, but the waiter is occupied..... and he initially was intending to troll her, cuz he's a little jerk.]

I need food too! I'm a growing.. er.. [She trails off then, looking sheepish.] ..girl? Yea.. girl. [Not like she could outright say a fox, even though he's already seen her when she shifted, five tails and all. She was tiny in that form anyways and Yobi didn't think that she would grow any bigger. A shame.]

[She bursts out into pleased giggles at the sight of his red face, Yobi leaning her elbows on the table, head propped on her hands. It was always nice to see him react like that. He didn't do it too often, not unless Yobi decided to show him some affection. It was obvious to her that he wasn't used to that sort of thing from people. It made her sad to think that he never got such tenderness growing up.] Killua is red all over.. even his ears!

Nu-uh! It's not because of that. I really do like Killua. [Yobi doesn't seem to know the concept of an inside voice; her voice seems to echo around the restaurant, people still glancing over at the two every now and then in amusement. She doesn't look embarrassed whatsoever, her blue eyes wide and earnest. Yobi leans over and plucks a tiny piece of meat from Killua's burger which she nibbles on hungrily. If he didn't order her a plate of her own food, his would be in danger of being eaten by this ravenous girl.]
