Guess what? You're dead. Or you can see dead people. Either way, there's some serious haunting going on.




1. I'm dead. You don't know why you're a ghost but this person can see you for some reason. Maybe they'll help you figure it out? So you aren't stuck here forever?

2. I'm not dead you're dead. You're in denial. You can't be dead, there's too much you haven't done yet.

3. What do you mean you're dead? They can see you and definitely don't realize you're a ghost.

4. Mistaken identity. This person looks just like someone you knew when you were alive. Maybe they'll recognize you?

5. Revenge haunting. They killed you (accidentally or on purpose) and now they're stuck with your ghost.

6. Summoning. They got drunk and tried to summon a demon but they got you instead. Or maybe you're who they were after the whole time.

7. Poltergeist. I hate you/have a lot of latent anger/just like throwing stuff.

8. Current occupant. I died in this house/basement/attic/apartment and now you're here, hope you like company because we're roommates now.

9. Haunted location. I'm the theatre ghost they keep talking about, hi. / I hated my work so much that I'm still here and this is your desk now but I keep sweeping things off it every night. / I was buried here. Yes I know it's a shopping mall now.

10. Haunted object. I'm haunting this object that was important to me, but now it's important to you too and you aren't getting rid of it and you want a compromise?

11. Tag along. I was haunting a particular place/wandering the earth aimlessly but you looked interesting, so now I'm haunting your messenger bag and you need to figure out what I want and how to get rid of me (assuming you want to get rid of me).

12. Age difference. I'm from 1406 and you aren't moving me from this spot.

13. Family. I'm your ancestor from a long time ago and I have dirt on the entire family tree.

14. Skills acquisition. I'm dead but I know how to make that souffle/play that piano/rebuild that engine/do that thing you're trying to do, do you want me to teach you? Because you are terrible at this.

15. Possession. Full possession: Let me do the talking / I can get you through this job interview / This song is my jam, just one dance / Let me just borrow your body real quick. Partial possession: I might only have control of this one leg but I say we walk this way.

16. Guardian. I was assigned to you when you were born and I was your imaginary friend but you grew up and stopped seeing me, but I'm still around and now you can see me again.

17. Reaper. I'm a reaper and you're the one who's going to die.

18. Mentor. You're dead now, but I've been dead for a while, let me show you the ropes.

19.Messenger. I've been sent to deliver a message to you Ebeneezer Scrooge.

20. Wild card. Do whatever!

He feels the touch, just the slightest thing. A tap on the shoulder, perhaps, or a rap on the knuckles on his old handgun. Why's someone touching it? Haven't lots of people touched it, since they searched the building he'd died in for remains and clues? (Had he been there during it? Sometimes he thinks he was, other times... He's not sure.

There's a lot he isn't sure about, now.)

This man who's touching his gun isn't the only one who has done it, but now Bond can see why he noticed him. Some part of him must have realized it before.

A hand pushing a metal box over to Bond. Glasses obscuring eyes while a man worked the wires of a bomb in front of him. Dark hair, dark eyes. Thin face, narrow shoulders. The bulk of him, the shape he takes up in the room as he handles Bond's weapon, it's unmistakable.

Well being dead sucked. It was annoying after the first week. Watching everyone deal with the aftermath had gotten old fast. There's only so much she can do since they can't seem to tell that she hasn't moved onto the great whatever. Colleen didn't want to trouble her friends either. They had enough to deal with without worrying over her being stuck as a ghost.

Colleen had decided for her own sanity to just leave. It was healthier than getting angry at things she couldn't do anything about. Taking away a warrior's ability to punch crap ass destiny's in the face was just cruel.

People watching became a thing pretty quickly during her walk about. Most people were boring as hell, then there was this guy. He looked like a spook. Something about him screamed dangerous so of course she decided to tag along.

It was something to do. Plus he quickly became actually interesting for the werewolf turned ghost. This is better than any spy movie she has ever seen. Colleen actually likes Nick at this point. It's not just the fact he's interesting to watch. He makes her think of some Shadow Lords she used to know.

"Seriously. You gave him just enough rope to hang himself with, you realize that right?" Maybe she shouldn't have said anything. Nah, there was no point in worrying over it. If he hears her at least he'll know he has an audience.

"Maybe that's the point. I'd do the same thing. Just maybe use more resting murder face than you do."

[All was quiet within the haunted house where it was said that the Demon Swordsman haunted the corridors. That was, until, a certain loud and obnoxious Magic Knight had decided to make his theatrical entrance by kicking the door open. Asta was sent on a mission to exorcise the ghost by any means necessary and he was completely gun-ho about it.]

HEY, GHOST! I'VE GOT A BONE TO PICK WITH YOOOOOU!

[Asta wasn't here to pick a fight despite being really blunt and direct about a confrontation. This was just his way of making himself known to the world. Being loud was just a normal way of expressing himself. He was the type to sympathize with people even if they were the most despicable, but he wasn't going to let them run away from mistakes or make excuse for hurting others. Ghost or otherwise, he couldn't become the Magic Emperor if he could solve little problems like this.

He starts walking past the staircase and into the hallway. While he didn't possess magic to sense anything off, he could sense Ki at least and rely on his instincts. It was up in the air if a ghost even had Ki, but he would be soon to find out.]
