Scrub-a-dub-dub, this meme is ridiculous. No, really. This is a meme about taking a bath. Silly.

- Characters bathe. Or other things involving a bath. Whatever, dudes. Anything goes!

1. Bubble Bath: Here, the characters are sharing a humongous bubble bath with all the froth they can handle. The scent is delicious, the water is warm; go on, enjoy yourselves!
2. Shower: Perhaps not as fun as a bubble bath, but hey, at least it's built to accommodate two. Don't slip!
3. Hot Tub: A whirlpool of warmth and mm. Don't mind me. I'll just be sinking in.
4. Hot Springs: An outdoors bath is good, too, right? Or maybe this is part of a hotel. Either way, it sure is steamy.
5. Decadent Bath: There could be bubbles here, or maybe just those wonderful smelling oils and salts. Awwww, yeah. This bath probably cost a small fortune, so you should enjoy it while it lasts.
6. Lake: In case the hot springs weren't rugged enough for you, here's an actual lake, complete with waterfall for all your rinsing pleasures.
7. Other: Bathe in a shoebox for all I care!

Which is exactly what Astolfo does! He wants a bath right now. The fact Jeanne is currently using the bath is wholly irrelevant information in his mind. Without so much as a knock, he opens the door, struts in wearing nothing but a towel, and locks the door behind himself--wouldn't want anyone rudely invading his privacy, after all.]

Even after all of their years spent in the family business, sometimes the Winchesters wind up low on cash. Low enough that they're practically running on fumes, so to speak, which leads them to not even being able to afford the sleaziest of motel rooms that rent by the hour. And so they end up crashing in their car, one brother up front (Dean, usually), and the other in the back.

Such as this particular hunt, here and now. A potential vampire nest up in Maine in the middle of July, the kind sweltering summer week that brings on even more humidity and heat after the sun goes down. The air is so thick, you can almost choke on it, and putting on the tie and suite routine costs even more energy and effort than usual.

This morning, just at the crack of dawn, and after a long night of seemingly endless vampire brawls, Dean wakes up after about an hour or so of actual sleep. Screw it, he thinks, pushing open the door to Baby as he rubs his eyes open. He groans, stepping out into the heat, which seems to have only gotten worse since they got back to the Impala several hours ago. It doesn't help that his head pounds, even in spite of all the painkillers he's ingested.

They're parked, luckily, by a secluded spot next to a rather large lake, and it doesn't take Dean long to reach the edge of the water. The water is at least a little cooler than the air surrounding them thanks to the lack of sunlight. Dean stretches, wincing a little as he pulls at a couple of freshly stitched up wounds and bruises, before shedding all of his layers, soaked through with sweat and blood, and smelling like the hours Dean has spent in the car researching the case and the bar fighting the vamps.

Without even bothering to check for early runners, (masochists, really, in this weather) or other civilians, Dean moves back a bit to give himself a running start. In an instant, he's dived into the water, letting the cold of it seep into his skin and lungs. He dives down deep, letting the gentle lull of the lake surround him for a bit.

By the time he breaks through the surface for air, Dean's feeling almost like himself again, jumping up a bit and shaking his head like an overly excited dog. Anyone who might happen to see him will likely think him nuts.

By the time Dean comes back up for air, Veronica has already stepped out of one boot and is hopping on a socked foot at the edge of the water, pulling at the other.

"Fuck, dude! You were down there so long, I thought you drowned." She half sits, half falls onto her rear, readjusting her boot. She laughs, the adrenaline of the moment, seeping away and leaving her a bit giddy.

"This is a public park, you know." She calls out, searching around for her other boot. She has to stretch to grab it without standing, but she manages, pulling off her damp, dirty sock and putting the boot back on. "You could have been arrested. And you are definitely going to get sick."

If anyone dared to suggest to Morrigan that her attitude toward Alacruun has thawed somewhat with the mountains at her back she would be equally astonished and annoyed, determined to prove them wrong. But she has. Partly, perhaps, because such biting cold has never been good for her mood, but partly because he has not actually done much that she has truly objected to.

In some cases he is even quite accommodating, in his own way. And the worst of it -- that ever-simmering connection -- is not something she can blame him for. She is the cause. She made it happen, no matter how unwittingly.

Regardless, she is in no way shy about stepping out of her boots, pulling the pins from her hair, and shedding her clothes in front of him. As expected, the pond is only warm on its sparkling surface but that does not stop her from wading in until water reaches the underside of her breasts. The sky is clear, she is warmer than she has been in weeks, and it feels good to wash away the dirt and sweat of the last few days.

Turning toward Alacruun, she eyes him. She has noticed that he prefers his natural state when he can get away with it, but he can enjoy that much less now, out of the frigid solitude of the Frostbacks. Fortunate in this case since a dragon could take up the entire pond on his own.

"Will you join me? Or do you fear these human teeth?"

[fatigue and sore muscles tended to go hand in hand with a long day of travelling and the occasional fighting. which was what made moments of reprieve such as this so satisfying. the hot springs they came to was rather spacious, so it was easy enough for Cloud to find a little spot by himself along the side of the pool. although it seemed like there was nobody else around at this time of night. little did he know (or pay enough attention) that this was a mixed bath hot spring.

with nothing but a small towel wrapped around his waist, the steam made it difficult to see across the entire hot spring. but breathing it in left him feeling warm and soothed. it was nice enough that he almost wanted to fall asleep laying on the side.]

Should probably get out soon... [before Aqua wondered if he'd gotten lost or something.]
