[How often is he questioned about it? Well, questioning would be preferable to being hooked up to electrodes to be monitored while using it, but some people were just rude, okay. ...Well, he agreed to it for the sake of doctors everywhere~*~*~ but details.]

Lately it's been much less than in the past, thankfully. It's really not something that's easy to describe to people that can't use it, as I'm sure you know full well. [healing touch club 4 lyfe!!!]

That's... good to hear. [ She drums her fingers absent mindedly for a moment before replying. She's always been wondering. ] What do you know about how you got yours? I had only been told that, well, those that have it are descendants of Asclepius.

That's really all I know about it, as well. [But there's probs a lot that he hasn't been told by Dr. Hoffman because that's just how Hoffman is. But you know, this brings up a good question.]

[ She furrows her brow for a moment, trying to think back. ] When I life-guarded-- so back in high school. There was an emergency and didn't know what had happened at first, but I felt something. Suddenly, the man was well again. Although, it wasn't until med school that I started to become more aware of it.

Not exactly, no. The first time it happened, I didn't really know what happened, just that I needed to work fast to save the patient in front of me. [stitching up the heart in a fraction of a second, aw yeah.]

And then the first time I tried to use it knowingly, I passed out for three days.

[Quite a bit of a shock to say the least, yes. But that's odd, he was the only one that passed out? That they knew of, anyway.]

I didn't pass out, no, but I'm not saying that it wasn't a shock to me. After all, it's something so unscientific...

[He totally is. He's the softest of all the healing touch users, while Naomi is the toughest and manliest.]

That wasn't the part that was the strangest to me, really. I guess I'm lucky I had Dr. Kasal and Dr. Hoffman who both knew something about it around. [Hoffman more than Kasal, clearly, but well. One was somewhat more cooperative (in a way) than the other]

It sounds as if you've been surrounded by others supporting you all your life.

I've been lucky to have that, really. It's not so much supporting as them kicking me into shape, though, if you ask some of them.

I--am not sure that's the best idea, actually! Angie... she said she was going to visit Dr. Blackwell today, so we probably shouldn't disturb her, and I think Tyler's on the night shift tonight.

[ She smiles slyly. ] It almost seems like you're trying to cover for them...

Cover for them? I don't see how. It's true that Angie was going to visit Blackwell today.

[More things he wasn't aware of: coworkers guessing about his love life. It's also hard for him to tell what Angie even thinks sometimes, because she's proooobably one of the most confusing people he knows. One second she's being nice, and the next she's yelling at him for something he hasn't done. Welp.]

That's... well, of course I'm fond of her, she's the best assistant I could ask for. ...People really think about things like that when I'm not around?

I can't say I've ever thought about that, honestly. [Well, no, he's probably entertained the idea in his head a few times when they've been traveling to go combat disease, but that's about how far it's gone. At least on his side, anyway.]

Angie's really just Angie, I can't think of a better way to put it.
