The fact that you're in a relationship with this person isn't public knowledge. Actually, no one knows about it except for the people involved. Maybe you guys are just private like that; on the other hand, it may be a necessity to keep things a secret from others. Maybe you're both team mates, and others on the team would give you grief, or you're not supposed to be dating, or you're not the type to usually date and you're only testing the waters. Perhaps it's the combination of you two, possibly an odd couple, that would bring some controversy or some teasing. Or, you know, you could not want to deal with friends and relatives being busybodies. Your reasons are your own.

Are you content with stealing moments to be together as a couple? Do you want to make your relationship known and the fact that you can't drives you batty? Remember, there are lots of benefits to dating in secret. You can be yourselves completely, away from prying eyes, and get to know each other better as potential longterm romantic partners. In a way, it's ideal.

( I like the idea of her being in a relationship with one of the Marauders while in Hogwarts where they are supposedly well known for being 'enemies.' No Peter Pettigrew, please. Also okay with cross-canon. )

[I am definitely up for something!]

[Maybe something before the last ep? Or, if you would rather, something after the time jump.]

[Sure! I'm going to grab dinner and then post a starter!]

[ Being reunited with her siblings has been a mixed blessing for Allison. For one, it’s bringing a lot of old feelings bubbling back to the surface. She never quite forgot her childhood memories of her siblings, but now everything is fresh again. That subtle longing that she’s always felt to be around Luther is suddenly keen and sharp like ozonic air in her nostrils.

Maybe it’s the years of getting up at ungodly hours to run drills followed by the years of getting up at the crack of dawn to drive long distances for auditions, but it’s hardwired into Allison to be an early riser. Somehow, on this particular day, she even gets up before Luther. Still in pajamas, she heads down to the kitchen to pour two glasses of orange juice (in the absence of coffee) and toast two croissants. Allison puts it all on a tray and heads up to Luther’s room to share an early morning moment with him.

All of the years they spent together gives her a sort of familiarity. She doesn’t feel the need to knock on the door. Instead, she simply turns the knob and pushes it open, stepping inside and nudging the door closed with a slipper-clad foot. ]

You awake?

[ Her voice comes out in a soft whisper. She doesn’t want to startle him awake. Sending him into a panic kind of defeats the comforting effects of the croissant and juice.

Allison approaches his bed and sits on the edge of the mattress, balancing the tray on her lap. ]

[It isn't far off from the usual time Luther would wake up anyway, but he's still tucked under his covers, expression relaxed -- but the voice draws his attention easily enough.

Allison's voice could never send him into a panic -- at least not the bad sort. Even after all this time, she still sends his heart beating faster with a smile or a look. She still feels like... home, whatever complications time has left them. She's familiar and comforting... and he could use that right now, no matter how much he'd rather not say it.

His eyes drift open to look up at her, blinking slowly.]

Mm-- I am now... [He pauses when he notices the tray, studying it curiously for a moment.] What's all of this?

This is…

[ She passes him a croissant, crispy and still warm, on a small plate. Allison has thought ahead. She’s a breakfast-in-bed veteran. If you use plates underneath your food, you’re less likely to get crumbs in your covers. ]

Breakfast.

[ Allison smiles and sets his glass of O.J. on his bedside table. Her food stays on the tray on her lap. The whole set-up is uncharacteristically domestic for the two of them, but she kind of likes it. They shared their meals, albeit with their other siblings, for years. This shouldn’t be so incredibly foreign to her. ]

It’s not much, but I never did learn mom’s skill in the kitchen…

[ She lifts the croissant to her mouth and takes a bite, smiling. ]

It's great.

[Allison made it for him, so he's not going to complain... especially when it means she wants to spend some time with him, one on one. That's never a bad thing... especially after all this time.

He takes the plate offered, carefully, before he brings the croissant up to take a bite.]

Any particular occasion?

[Having her in his bed isn't usual -- especially not anymore. That doesn't mean it's unpleasant either though and, carefully, he tries to shift over. It isn't easy anymore and he gives an almost apologetic look.]

You can come up here-- it might be a little more comfortable.

[ It is true that Luther takes up most of the bed, and it’s not like Allison is kid-sized anymore, either, but she smiles as she chews on a bite of croissant, balances the tray precariously on his bedside table, and scoots up closer to the headboard and to him. She sighs and lets her head flop lazily against his shoulder. ]

No occasion. I just thought it might be nice to share a moment while everything was still quiet and before everyone got up.

[ She smiles to herself. They didn’t get too many chances as kids to sneak off and spend time together with the rigid set of rules they’d grown up with, but she had enough memories of the two of them to make this moment feel nostalgic. ]

What are you thinking?

[ Head resting on his shoulder, Allison looked up at the ceiling of his room, just gazing off into space. ]

Mm...

[He tilts his head in a bit towards hers when she leans her head down like that, enjoying the slight weight against him, the company he's missed.

It really has been too long.]

Right now? [He pauses thoughtfully for a moment.] That I'd missed this. Not that we had may mornings like this growing up, but...

[After she'd left, they really didn't get the chance.]

[ her older brother is Kylo Ren and he’s weirdly protective of her even if they hate each other’s guts sooo definitely keeping her boys away to avoid Force choking ~~especially if you’re Poe~~ ]

He has a soft side that appreciates friendship and closeness despite having to put on a profesional and aloof image for his job.]
