1. Away Mission!

You've just beamed down to an unexplored planet. Is it inhabited? Is it habitable? Just be sure not to break the Prime Directive

2. First Contact!

You are about to make the first, official contact with an alien civilization. Whether you are seeking them out or they are seeking you out, try to make a good impression.

3. Battle Stations!

All hands to battle stations! Shields are at full power and weapon systems are prepared for combat.

4. Red Alert!

Something has gone wrong! It is an all out emergency but what is it? Has something happened in engineering to cause radiation to flood the ship? Are you being boarded? Either way, hope you survive the experience!

5. Shore Leave!

Exactly like it says on the tin. Maybe you're going to Risa. It's time to settle down with a nice drink and relax. If you're alone, try picking up Horga'hn.

6. Holodeck!

You have some free time. All of time. All of space. All of everything. What's your program of choice?

7. Lost in space!

Something terrible has happened. Maybe you're in a shuttle that's lost most of its power and now you're adrift. Maybe said shuttle crashed landed on an unknown planet. Whatever it was, you now find yourself lot. Let's hope you know how to send out an intergalactic SOS!

8. You Do Need an Education!

You've just enrolled in the Starfleet Academy. Located in San Francisco, this educational facility preps all that have been accepted. It's a lot of work. Study. Study. Study. However, that doesn't mean there isn't time for the occasional hijinx.

9. Stations in Space!

It is a station in space. Space is all around. Maybe you're a resident or it is a temporary point until something better comes your way. Maybe you live on board a vessel that is about to dock. Maybe it'll be a nice change of pace.

10. Wild Card!

Pick whichever option you like best. I bet you thought this would be at the end. Well, it's not.

11. Tribbletastic!

The terrific thing about tribbles is that tribbles are terrific things. Their insides are made of stuff, their bottoms are made of the fluff. But the most terrific thing about tribbles is that tribbles are everywhere. It would be a tribble shame if they got into any important systems.

12. Q-who?

You're a member of a nearly omnipotent, immortal race of beings who have mastered the ability of time-travel and transformation. Maybe you're one of the 'almost respectable' ones. Maybe you're a trouble-maker. Either way, what could go wrong?

13. SmörgåsBORG.

They are the Borg. Resistance is futile. Either you're facing a boarding party or you and your crew accidentally ran into them. Maybe you'll be assimilated and need to be rescued. They're a bit like zombies, only they don't want to eat you. They just want to assimilate you and add your distinct uniqueness to themselves.

14. Mirror mirror...

Valryn is basically somewhere between Romulan and Klingon, and that's just talking personality. he peaced out of the underdark because no one respects him which is rude, so now the rest of outer space has to deal with him. he's giving seedy crime bars their reputation's worth, or getting his way into nice galas to meet all sorts of ambassadors and pretty people with power (and overhear some juicy political gossip, maybe get some blackmail), and probably selling off/trading artifacts and resources that weren't his to begin with. guy gets a fascinating, and sometimes disconcerting rumor around him, despite how many people seem to vouch for him...it's kind of weird, hmm.

fan of TNG and DS9, would rather play in one of those two verses BUT if any Disco muses wanna mingle, hmu to plot that out. that said, I love me some Odo!!, Garak!!, Jadzia, Kira, Weyoun, Worf!!, Quark, Riker, Data!!, Picard!!... off the top of my head that hasn't watched a single episode in a hot minute. also, non-canon muses, D&Ds, whatever.

Generally, Picard manages to keep anything akin to soirées and galas off of his beloved ship, but this time he'd been overridden by the Starfleet command, which is why the entirety of the observation deck had been refitted with fancier furnishings and is currently swimming with ambassadors and admiralty and various other important folks.

If Data were capable of experiencing excitement, he would be absolutely atwitter.

The thing about parties is, they are always an extremely rich environment with which to observe and study behavior. Especially, and most importantly, small-talk behavior. His relevant subroutines are some of the ones in need of the most fine-tuning, he has found. And so he circles the party, searching it for prime targets: it's when he spots Valryn alone and comes up with no personnel file after a facial scan that he decides going in blind would be the best way to test his abilities and sidles up. Casually. Very casually, and not like a big ridiculous socially awkward android at all. "Greetings!" So sorry, Valryn. Nobody deserves this. "It is a fine evening, is it not?" Is it even evening? Who knows, they're in space.

[That may not actually be a Borg cube, but it sure does look like one as it floats through space, fractal shapes shifting beneath its mirrorlike surface. Initial scans would produce readings of impossible, nearly infinite mass, though it appears to be approximately 2km per side just from sight. Physics start to get screwy when one gets closer, as the cube seems to have its own gravitational field roughly as strong as a large planet despite its relatively small size, and any craft that wanders close will find itself having a difficult time escaping its pull. Sensors go haywire once close enough, and any attempt to leave the event horizon will only propel any craft even closer until it's ultimately engulfed.

Once pulled in, it's quickly apparent that the interior is just as fractal and alien as its exterior, but there does appear to be a breathable atmosphere and gravity comparable to Earth. That said, sensors read nothing once inside the mysterious object, and if there are any lifeforms inside it, they're strangely scarce. However, that doesn't mean you're alone...

(Delia's already a star trek OC, but I can AU her into pretty much any era. Although I haven't watched Discovery yet.
