stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

Allow me to help with our lack of romance problem, then. [ He leans in to give her a slow, sweet kiss. ]

[Oh, Bethany knows well enough by now to take her pleasures wherever she can find them. So, right now, she is going to do just that. She happily returns the kiss and brings her blanket-holding arm up to wrap around his shoulder, effectively bundling them up in the quilt. Hey, not a bad way to stay warm.]

[ Body heat is always great! He will demonstrate that by tugging her closer.

That annoying need to breathe does rear its head though, and he pulls away, but only slightly. ] You are beautiful, Bethany.

Oh? [She ducks her head - stiiiiiiill blushing - but she doesn't pull away, doesn't move an inch. Staying right here is just fine with her.] You're not so bad, yourself.

[ Yup. Totally adorable. He just grins, planting a kiss on her cheek. ]

Not that I'm not enjoying this, but we have just traipsed our way through a blizzard and I'd rather not be standing anymore.

Ah - right. My feet are rather sore, now that I think about it. [In all this recent excitement, she'd almost forgotten. Reluctantly, she untangles herself from the blanket and his arms, nodding toward the bed.] Well, like you said, there is a bed.

[A bed that she is a little less terrified to share with him, now. :')]

Indeed there is. [ He gives her a little smile, which is all the warning she gets before he scoops her up bridal-style and carries her towards the bed. ]

Wh-- [She lets out a surprised squeak and kicks her feet about uselessly before she just starts laughing.] I can still walk, you know.

I know. [ He sets her down, leaning over her to give her another kiss. ]

Hmm. [Well, at least he put her down. And now he is kissing her again, so, really, she can't possibly argue with him anymore. She reaches up, wraps her arms around his neck, and tugs him closer. If they do nothing but be together like this for the rest of the storm, she will be perfectly content.]

I should not watch TV and tag at the same time apparently

[Her own hand moves up and down his back, before settling at the back of his head, tangling her fingers in his hair; the other grips his shoulder as she leans toward him, pressing light kisses along his jawline, down his neck. Nope, definitely not going anywhere for a while.]
