[Rubin's stomach tightens a bit at the lurching sensation. He's had a lifelong fear of being in an elevator free fall since childhood. But nothing happens. The elevator stops and the light flickers.

They're stuck. He glances over his shoulder at her. Thankfully this wasn't exactly a full elevator, nor was Ada exactly a total stranger. It could be worse.

He reaches forward and presses the red button (unmarked, but presumably 'emergency call') then steps back and turns to her again.]

"Well, that's all I got. Any other ideas?"
