Because is there anything better than a dangerous, potentially deadly stoic whose one weakness is their sweet, harmless object of affection? Especially if the latter has the former wrapped around their finger, knowingly or otherwise.

That said, I'd also be super interested in taking this in a gen direction and having Loki platonically smitten by a student or adopted child.]

[I'd assume this would be an AU-ish thing where Loki is aware of his heritage OR they could have met sometime after the first Thor film if you want to stay movie compliant? I have an idea for AU so we don't need to figure out anything between films but I'm game for anything!

Either way, I thought Loki could have taken Jack under his wing and that's how their family dynamic develops as Jack learns more about his abilities and whatnot! Of course, if you have anything you wanna add or change, it's all good!]

[I think the shock of discovering his heritage is integral to Loki's character in some ways, so I would prefer sticking to some of the first Thor film. Maybe Loki chooses to back down instead of trying to kill Thor with the Destroyer, and then leaves Asgard in favor of Earth to sort himself out and runs into Jack that way?

He might see Jack as a kind of second chance for himself, as well, so that would add some weight to the dynamic.]

[It wasn't everyday that one got to hang out with a god. But that's what Jack had been up to for awhile now. After he had heard about the commotion in New Mexico, he had to check it out. Besides, it was fall, almost winter there, so for him to arrive a little early wasn't that weird. He just had to refrain from making a blizzard and limit himself to frosting cars over at night.

No big deal!

He certainly hadn't expected to find Loki, of all the gods, there. And he was pretty sure he saw Thor. Strange things were happening all over the place, it seemed. Weird for humans, anyway. But for now, Jack wasn't too concerned with that. Loki intrigued him. He stuck around and no matter how much the boy bugged, he didn't get much in a way of an answer. Somehow, a friendship had formed and while Loki didn't seem to reveal too much about himself, Jack couldn't help but spilling everything about himself. He just didn't get to socialize much, even with the other Gaurdians. It was nice to have someone to talk to. Like now as they walked along the beach in the West Coast. It was in the middle of winter so no one was around. Jack had taken it upon himself to do what he always loved. He froze the waves as they rolled, watching in delight as they slowly pushed through the ice and Jack slide down on barefeet.]

C'mon Loki! The water's great! I promise, I won't let you fall in.
