You're not sure how, you're not sure why, but suddenly you're in a box. What's worse, is that there's another person with you making quarters less than perfect.

[A dark cramped area. Snow felt ready to curse in every language he knew. Who dared to put him in a fucking box!? Despite the ire he felt he kept somewhat calm for the moment. No use exploding in a fit of rage right away. Also he wasn't alone. Something he yet had to determine was a good thing or not.]

[they'd been in the middle of taking down another hydra base when the explosion had come. one moment, he was sending his shield flying, the next, fire. his name being shouted out loudly. the familiar whine of thrusters. a shout for help, and then--

darkness.

when he comes to again, it's with a jolt, his head smacking against what feels like a solid lump of metal. it's dark, too dark, and it takes steve a long while to force himself to calm down. to squeeze his eyes shut and take a few, slow breaths.

right. he can do this.

cool metal against his arm (where's his uniform?). a solid surface above his head and below his feet (his boots too?). a clang as he reaches up into the void and hits the top of the container he's stuck inside. there's no one outside. it's too quiet. too...

wait.

warm breath to his side. a slow heartbeat, and...a soft blue light, which is all the sign he needs.]

Stark?

[and then he's reaching up to where he thinks tony's shoulder would be. too bad he ends up knocking him in the jaw instead.]

How are you holding up?

[ He's doing his damnedest to find some sort of weak point they can break out from, but it's hard to move around with another person sharing the space, and he isn't sure he'll even be able to get the leverage to break out if he does find such a spot. When he figures out which of the dime-a-dozen terror organizations out there is responsible for this, he's blowing up every one of their "secret" bases. ]

If you're going to freak out I'd like a little warning.

Instead of luring him into a grand adventure, they’re stuck inside some kind of box and, truth be told, she’s not even sure how they managed to get caught here in the first place. But they are, and there isn’t much wiggle room. Estelle’s back is trapped against the bottom of the box and her neck is bent awkwardly, pressing the back of her head against one of its walls. [There's a lot of things that Cain doesn't like. Loud noises, headaches, and for whatever reason, he really disliked mashed potatoes. These were things that were just things he disliked, could endure, and tolerate though.

There's a few things he really couldn't tolerate though. Very small, enclosed spaces was one of them. If it could really only feasibly fit a singular person in, it was much too small for Cain's tastes. He needed room. Needed the feeling that the walls weren't coming in around him and would crush him.

The man was incredible and utterly claustrophobic.

So being put into a box was honestly and possibly one of the worst moments of his life. He can't think of anything worse other than maybe being dragged back home to a father he never wanted to see again. His brain, of course, isn't thinking of any of that. It's only thinking about how cramped the space is and how he can push against every single direction and be met with a hard surface.

Oh, and that there's someone else with him which really just makes the space smaller. One would think that having company would help a bit.

It really isn't helpful at all.

He lets out a shaky breath. Breathing is good. Yes. Breathing. Right.] Fancy meeting you here. [It doesn't have Cain's usual smarmy charm and just sounds really nervous. Panicked.]
