[People don't tend to realize how much energy it takes to keep going as a hulk. Eventually, she hits a point where either there needs to be a hell of a lot of food or she crashes like a rock when all the fight or flight is gone.

This explains why Jen is fast asleep on the plane ride back from an encounter. It doesn't, however explain why Jen is curled against Tony, her head on his shoulder a bare hint of a smile on her face. Or why he didn't wake her when she started drifting to suggest either the wall or one of the empty, reclining seats.]

Sometimes the days blur together and become one and she’ll have the passing thought of whether she’d slept the night prior as her nightly habits are sometimes too preoccupied with a certain someone. Leia of course doesn’t mind and she often feels as though she needs that release. Everything can pile on and will she ever ease the burdens onto anyone else? No. It’s always her duty and no one else’s, since Alderaan’s destruction.

Thankfully they aren’t in the middle of a meeting when her weight sags gradually against his arm where she’d taken a moment to rest. She’d only wanted to close her eyes for a moment or two and take a deep breath. How was she to know that she would actually slip asleep, her hand rested at his thigh while the other holding a datapad is ready to slip and crack on the ground. ]

It's not like there's a stranger asleep on her lap, but it's certainly a level of closeness she isn't really used to, with anyone, and Invi isn't really the first person who would come to mind to be so comfortable as to do such a thing. To fall asleep on her, that is. On her lap. Just now. Well. Not that any of them are likely, but Invi is... Well, Invi. So dutiful.

Ava wonders if there are any other factors, besides closeness and comfort, that would lead to this. Would Invi keep working through exhaustion or illness, to the point where she would fall asleep on her? Maybe.

[Nestled against Jiho is a scrawny looking child- almost pre-teen in appearance. She was drooling into the fabric of his shirt without shame, hands curled into his shirt. A hard bump has her jolting awake, eyes widening. Her tails almost shimmer into appearance behind her but she holds the urge back, remembering that she was on a train full of humans.] W-Wha..? [She rubs at her eyes with tiny fists, looking a mixture of adorably sleepy and grumpy. Stupid train for waking her up.]

Jiho-oppa.. I'm hungry! [This is the first thing that she cries out in Korean as she wipes her mouth with the back of her hand, cleaning off any drool there. She sits up straighter, blue eyes wide and attentive.]

Food! [She says this word in surprisingly clear English, her grin sharp like that of a fox's.] I want meat. Meat! Chicken. [Her legs sway as she sings this out, sandals hitting against the chair softly.]
