[Aaaaand he drops his head like he's asleep.]

she aims a kick for the back of his head with a stiletto heel instead. ]

[The kick never reaches him, a mystical barrier a few inches from his body being revealed by the impact, turning a white colour where she struck.

He 'wakes up' to give her a quizzical look.]

[ she flings a blue-white hadoken at the barrier with a snarl. sure, we can do magic too. ]

[The barrier glows more brightly, but apparently holds... Until the last second, when it cracks, breaking apart like jerk kicking a sand castle.

He still has that shit eating grin though.]

Nearly there. One more, think you can do it?

[He's pointing right at his face. Come at me, bro!]

You want it that damn badly? I'll rip you a new one!

[ the swords come out again and slice towards his face in an x-strike, the grin on her lips just a little more twisted than his. ]

[OH NO THAT'S NOT GOOD except

he's holding her swords between his teeth.

Like, this shit is easy as pie for him. She'll probably not even be able to pry them out if she tries her hardest, he's just standing here with both swords gripped by his fangs.]

[halfagirl]

[ well damn. she's pretty superhumanly strong as it is but after trying her best to slice through that stupid grin of his without success, she switches tactics. ]

At least you're finally shutting up for once.

[ runes appear before her fists, clenched around the handle of her swords. want to eat a magic blast? ]

[That might be a problem too...

except he starts to glow and oh sweet lord the ground is shaking, small chunks of earth are defying gravity to float off, the sky is turning red and it looks like her magic blast is just sort of ceasing to exist like if you spit in the ocean, there ain't no spit no more, there's just ocean.]

My turn.

[He manages to that out between swords, his tongue rolling over the blades for a second just to be weird.

And then she gets flicked on the nose, like.

Not even a super flick.

Boop.]

[ oh that is so not on. she flinches back from the movement, growls, and then savagely tries to saw through his tongue, planting one heel on his chest for leverage even if it doesn't do anything at all. ]

What the fuck is your problem?

[Well, that just means he can wrap a hand around her ankle and hold her upside down at arm's length. At least he let go of the swords first, but not before he makes sure she gets a second to attempt his attack. So she can see even his tongue is too tough for her. What a prick.]

I'm bored.

[That seems to be both his problem and his motivation, but at least she's amusing him for now.]

I'll fix that for you if you stop playing dirty like a little bitch!

[ her outfit is barely more revealing than it already was when she's upside down, but the moment he lets go of her blades is the moment she swings at his arm, aiming to chop it clean off to free herself. ]

[He's doing that asshole villain thing where they block a blade with their finger tips because he's a dick.]

If you're going to be a sore loser, I'll make you fit the part.

[Ka-ZAP baby, he's dumping a great big blast of energy on her. He may be an evil prick, but she has enough spirit to entertain him in the future too so it's more one of those cheating spells that reduces you to 1HP for the sake of a cutscene or something.]
