how?

01 induction. a comfortable place, a confident touch, and all the right words to take you under. deep breath in, deep breath out, just lie back for the plain flavor, no gimmicks or special powers involved.
02 the prop box. that's not enough? then how about a spinning spiral, or a swinging pocket watch, a coin or a candle, a flickering candle, that's right, just look at the flame, watch the flame closely, watch it dance in front of your eyes and relax, just relax...
03 simply powerful. deep and hypnotic eyes, a strong and commanding voice, their comforting and soothing touch; that person has more than talent - they have the power to bring you completely under their control, and there is no way to resist... at least not forever.
04 magic! a spell to control your body, a potion to command your mind, an artifact to destroy your will. you might have been enchanted, or even cursed. maybe it was an accident, a lesson gone wrong. whatever it was, it's time for a magical trance!
05 science! death rays are so last season, hypno rays are all the rage these days! and did you hear about that new drug that makes you 89% more suggestible to everything you're told? apparently they can even insert a chip into your brain and-- you know, why don't you see the miracle of science for yourself?

why?

01 therapy something you want to remember? something you'd like to forget? quit smoking, eat healthier, be the best you you can be. whatever your reason, whatever your method, your subconsciousness needs a spring cleaning to improve your life.
02 in good fun you're really looking forward to this! it's a show, it's a party, or maybe it's just the two of you trying something new. entertaining, relaxing, maybe even hot and steamy. kick back, and enjoy the experience.
03 part of the job the latest corporate drug, another monster preying on people's minds, the third alien artifact you dug up this week. you've run into this before, and you will run into it again. but maybe this time is different. maybe this time something went wrong...
04 part of a scheme you don't want this, but somebody else begs to differ. maybe it's as harmless as a prank to make you cluck like a chicken whenever they say your name. or maybe it's as bad as a plot to make you their obedient servant forever. only they know, but for better or worse, you're about to find out.
05 an accident a vacant stare into that magical mirror, blank faces after a gas leak, sparks flying in the wrong direction and suddenly you find yourself chanting 'yes, master' over and over again? looks like somebody was too careless. sure, nobody meant for this to happen, but it did, and now you have to deal with the side-effects.

what?

01 relaxation. all you want is to unwind, switch off, forget about your stress and worries for a while. close your eyes, you'll wake up feeling so refreshed. that is, unless somebody goes a little overboard with that happy and vacant smile...
02 transformation. bark like a dog. moo like a cow. put on this apron, you are the maid now. you're a robot, you're just a doll, you are the president of the world, an adorable baby, the perfect boyfriend- you are something or somebody you weren't before.
03 personality change. people don't change? we'll see about that! there must be some way to make you more assertive, less anxious, more honest, less unruly. maybe something could even change your evil ways! or your good ones, for that matter...
04 submission. this one is all about following commands. any commands. any commands. but do they just want to see you dance to their tune once, or will they wash, scrub and bleach your brain until it comes out blank and obedient forever?
05 seduction. maybe it's something sneaky to charm somebody you just met, maybe it's something sexy to spice up your relationship. whatever it is, whatever you do, it's trance time in the bedroom. and it would feel so amazing to take off your clothes for me, wouldn't it?

[The new intern had caught Lusamine's eye. Konoka was quite cute but more than that she would look quite nice next to her. Looks were everything, after all. The problem was that she was sure that Konoka wasn't planning on staying at the foundation. After all, it was a good step for anyone on their career path and if Konoka wanted to stay after her internship? There was nothing to say that she would want the jobs Lusamine wants her to do.

Which is why the Aether president asks her up to her office. It's a clean, sleek place with modern furniture. She's sitting at her desk when Konoka enters. She gestures her closer.]

I'm glad you came up here. I know you haven't been at the Foundation for long but I have something I wanted to ask you.

[ In all honesty, this intern job was really something Konoka wanted to do just to occupy her summers and experiment with a career path. She hadn't meant for this to be a permanent thing. However, for the head of the company to take notice of her meant that whatever life plans had been wildly diverted.

Trying not to sweat buckets as she stepped into the all-too-pristine office, Konoka took an easygoing but respectful tone. If she was nervous, it was hopefully not showing. ]

Thank you for having me up here. It's an honor to be invited up here with you... what did you want to ask me?

[ It's significant, right? There's no way she called her up here just to ask something silly. ]

[She gestured at a chair in front of her desk. There's nothing out of the ordinary in the room, nothing frivolous. Lusamine gives her a nod.]

Relax. We're just going to have a talk. Our research department is developing some new technologies and we're looking for volunteers to do some in-house testing. You'll be paid for your services, of course.

[It's all a lie, of course. The research was being done but it was under the table. It's something Lusamine wouldn't want to get out. She pulls out a tablet and places it in front of Konoka.]

Here, there's a video. Why don't you take a look? I can't really explain it in mere words.

[If Konoka plays the video, it just seems like a simple advertisement for the Aether Foundation, talking about some minor advancements in medical technology. It would be normal if it wasn't for the humming noise in the background that would start as a distant noise but soon would grow loud enough to even drown out Konoka's own thoughts, lulling her into a suggestive state.]

Alright!

[ Konoka laughs off what nervousness she's showing in order to visibly calm herself down. At first she finds Lusamine's request strange, but feels no need to actually question it. After all, some people aren't as nearly eloquent as they are made out to be.

Konoka lifts the tablet to gaze at it, and the video plays right upon seeing her. Nothing entirely unusual, and it seems to be a simple, long winded ad. Nothing unusual.

And then the buzzing hit. It started soft and grew louder. It wasn't loud enough to startle Konoka and make her cover her ears, but the height suddenly swarmed until it was all she could hear. Her eyes visibly tense in panic, but then the buzzing overrides even that, and her gaze goes relaxed and blank. ]

[If it hadn't been a ruse to get Konoka to watch the ad she would have tried to pretty up her request. She was glad that it didn't seem that was needed.

She watches carefully. It doesn't take long for her to notice the signs. The sudden panic and then the blank stare. The ad was specially designed so that the buzz was so low that only those in close proximity to it would be effected. She gently reaches out and takes the tablet from her, switching off the ad.]

Look at me, Konoka. We're about to discuss the terms of your internship. You should pay very close attention.

[It's said with a gentle laugh. She caught her for sure, this time.]

[For a year or so now, Konoka Konoe and her wife, Setsuna, had been helping to stop a series of attempts by demons to destroy some important shrines in this particular Generic Western-With-Eastern-Elements Fantasy World AU. The powerful swordswoman/mage duo had managed to defeat villain after villain, and had been taking some well-deserved time off when, the one time they decided to separate, Konoka found herself falling asleep suddenly.

If suddenly being too tired to move in the middle of a street on a bright day wasn't an obvious enough cue of magic, her waking up tied to a chair, stripped to her underwear, legs held spread and a gag in her mouth probably made clear something was very wrong. And, of course, there was the showingly-clad woman in front of her.]

Well hello there, and welcome back to the waking world, my soon-to-be minion~

[... This probably qualified as very bad news. But the woman was pretty hot.]

[ She had hardly said parting words to Setsuna before everything went dark. The sudden change of scenery was already enough to cause her worry. Waking up unable to move, her mouth crammed with an unidentifiable object left her fully waking up to panic. Konoka immediately tried to buck free of her chair restraints to no avail, letting out a panicked grunt and a squeal. ]

Mmmmn!

[ But who was this in front of her, and why were they calling her a future minion? She was no one's minion! But she was also kinda hot, in a way a boy would find a curvaceous woman hot... no, she had Setsuna! She stared frightfully at this woman. ]
