It's been a while. He was suppose to be dead, of course, but very few knew otherwise. He was suppose to be working with a small crew, but again, so few knew about that. He'd been away for so long he wasn't sure what had changed with the other. Anythiing could have. Hell, he had no idea if Clint even knew he was still alive. Fury never said and times had been so busy.

None the less, he stood there now, looking at the mans damnable apartment. Phil actually liked this apartment, or at least private events that had taken place in it. He stood outside it, across the street by the lamplight, just looking. This was a bad idea. He didn't need to bother the man like a old ghost, but he couldn't help the need to see him again, even at a distance.

Or not even see him, really. He didn't want to be caught out here, but seeing where he still lived was enough for the moment. No, it was never really enough but... it would have to do. Winter in the city. He tugged his coat closer to his face with his mechanical hand and started to turn to walk away.

Truthfully, Abe was a little surprised that he was the first to arrive, but it didn't bother him any, since he didn't mind the relative quiet while working, airing out the house, taking the dustcovers off of the furniture and sweeping the floors. He'd even opened up the cedar chest to let the quilts air out a little too so they could be put on the bed later.
