don't forget the snacks!

It's Blockbuster, bitch.
Here's the scenario: it's late in the evening and you find yourself standing inside a Blockbuster store. (Did you go back in time? Is this an AU where these things still totally exist? It's up to you, pal!) Whether it's a lonely night and you're just looking for a movie or video game to rent or you're browsing the New Releases for something to take home for an evening in with a loved one, it's a simple concept. It's like the Denny's or Waffle House meme, but with movies. Welcome to Blockbuster.

I'm sure they'll get along swimmingly :D
Doesn't look much like what's on the box, friend.

[Dell takes a step forward and squints at the disc himself. He could probably figure it out, given time, but VHS doesn't come out until 1977, and compact discs were another time.
Thankfully, he's an over-the-top cartoon genius, so it's fine.]
My best guess is you stick it in somethin', like those newfangled floppy disks.
[The gears turn in his head until something catches his eye. He looks up at the TV screen hanging in corner above, playing a random movie.
... Huh.]
Well. Television sets look pretty dang different here, but I'm guessin' that's where they go.

[ There's a scowl of confusion. It's a lot of new vocabulary. While he's certainly not opposed to the new ways of the world, there is still a lot to learn-- can't do much of that from a stranger. ]
You're clearly the expert here, friend, and my ego doesn't inhibit me from admitting that.
[ He thrusts a hand out eagerly. ]
It's a real privilege to meet an expert, sir-- Buster Scruggs is the name.
