stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
⑦ mix and match, or make up your own.

Bow couldn't hide his excitement once Glimmer announced their visit to Snows, other than the Prom he hadn't really visited snows like, ever. And that wasn't really a fond memory, so this was a good way to get over that one time.

He over packed, but he didn't really care. It was worth the pain. By the time they got there Adora and Glimmer had knocked out, too tired from the trip. Bow had immediately looked for Princess Frosta and shadowed her until she noticed him and finally agreed to take him sightseeing. Granted, they couldn't really get near to any Grolar bears because it wasn't really safe but, it was still pretty cool to walk around the snow! There was never snow in Bright Moon, the perpetual spring was all they had.

He stood at the outside gates of the palace, mouth wide open and overseeing the endless snow. "I love this!" He said as he quite literally ran down the steps of the castle and threw himself on a large mound of snow.

[ Take one roadkill casualty, add the desperate need for alternative supplies at travel, sprinkle the hiking impatience of a slew of eternally famished, but otherwise perfectly agreeable undead horses, and, voila.

Of course Hector's carriage stays in its path, when he spies a heap of majestic fluffiness buried in snow that only deepens with the passage of winter's first hard storm. Where there's a peculiar, gaudy and futile cape, there's a man who thought it worth the coin, stranded beneath it.

His little promenade in the village was good and well, but he's meant to present himself to Dracula's castle in something that passes for dutiful haste, once the wine's expired from his mind entirely, and he can take hammer to hand and needle to flesh again with purpose. It just so happens that the sudden chill's claimed enough strays and vagabonds that the pickings have been plentiful, and they've managed to pile a notable selection of bodies to hoard back at the castle for parts.

Of course stumbling on another frosted man-heap is a blessing — never mind that these frozen specimens so far from the village clearly wanted for brains, a good specimen only needs decent muscle. Wide grin foreshadowing disaster, Hector exits his carriage to examine the man-mountain, boot brushing his side to turn him over and inspect the dead goods —

Oh. Oh, no. ]

...you're alive. [ Well, that's disappointing. ] I don't suppose you expect to die within heartbeats?

[Walk? Who walks? Maybe if you're someone lame and boring who hasn't figured out how much fun they can have with their own feet. Somewhere, off in the distance, comes the muffled echo of a "Woohoo!" along with a strange scraping, grinding sound. Rapidly it draws nearer and with it the silhouette of first a bright red coat and shock of white hair.

Moving very, very quickly, using the ice and slick and nothing more than his own feet as if they were a skateboard to grind over hand rails or sidewalk edges at an alarming velocity. Closer still this red-clad lunatic appear to not be wearing a shirt. What's the point of a coat and no shirt? Who knows, one would have to ask him. If they didn't end up bowled over first.]
