It's time to go on a date! Sounds fun, right? Sounds easy, right? Well, you're in for a surprise. Everything goes wrong. We mean everything. You planned everything perfectly (or went spontaneous) and yet, nothing is going right. Here's hoping it doesn't ruin everything!
SCENARIOS
1. FIRST DATE FIASCO This is your first time dating this person even though you've had a little build up. Maybe you've been friends a while and decided to date! Maybe you met in a bar. Whatever. Anyway, your first date is going horribly. Rained out? Terrible service? 2. BLIND DATE BLOWUP A friend is trying to help you out. You're being set up with someone you've never met. Maybe you're totally incompatible. Maybe you actually do know them any they hate you. 3. DOUBLE DATE DILEMMA You're on a double-date with your friend and their date, but maybe the people you're dating end up into each other. Or you end up into your friend. Or your date ends up into the server. Maybe you end up in a food fight. 4. ANNIVERSARY DATE ANARCHY You've been together a while! Married or just dating, you have everything planned out amazingly. But nothing is going right. Reservation canceled? Subtle band music going wrong and falling apart? Food poisoning? 5. CYBER DATE CATASTROPHE You swiped right. Sure. That's fine. They're cute, their profile is nice, they don't seem like they're going to murder you. All pluses. But some things are too good to be true. Are they talking at length about their cat when you're super allergic? Maybe they're telling you that their lifestyle is too dangerous and you can't get close to them or showing you endless selfies. 6. PROPOSAL DATE PICKLE You want to propose. You want to make a good impression but you're just messing everything up. You fall over getting down on one knee, you knock them into a lake, you gt chased by swans... 7. FAMILY DINNER DATE FUCKUP It's time to meet your significant other's family! You're really nervous but it can't go that badly, right? Orrr maybe you have a family feud happening or the parents just hate you or you've dated their sibling without realizing it. Yikes. 8. BOTCHED DATE BAILOUT You can't take this any more. You have to use your code word or your secret text message or whatever, get that sweet call of "family emergency" so you can escape.
As always, these are just suggestions. Make up anything you want, as long as you're having fun!
[ Well, I enjoyed them being human disasters at each other in TFLN before captcha came to ruin the day-
SO my initial idea is a pseudo-blind date thing where their entourages are like 'hey, lets put the two chosen ones together' but they're both social trash fires and everything goes horrendously wrong. Possibly devolving into some kind of mission so they can do something they understand, i.e fighting things.
[ It's always easy luring in desperate fuccbois on the internet, but this guy was the easiest thing by far. Who falls for something like this so easily?
Anyway, he's only here so he can spy on the guy waiting and laugh at him, of course. He's not gonna meet him directly... because he doesn't want his hot girl online identity compromised by an offline meeting. Idk they're in Starbucks or whatever, and heine is sitting in a corner booth with an eye on the door, hunched over his phone. ]
[how would u feel about 1 with friends-turned-bfs on their first date but everything goes terribly wrong, or if not into bokuroo as a ship then 8 with kuroo bailing bokuto out of a terrible date?]
( "Get out there," they said, "Meet someone new," they said, "Then return to the caravan, and bring more Seekers into the world." Sypha huffs, frustrated and indignant, smoothing out the front of her robes. She refuses to wear anything special just to meet a stranger for the first time, much less with the idea of being courted, or doing the courting herself. She would much rather be out there with Trevor at the moment, but the urgent message from the caravan about dwindling numbers and furthering the line was something she felt she couldn't ignore.
She wishes she had.
According to the arrangements made, a young man of unknown name, title, or origin is meant to be meeting her for a leisurely stroll in the moonlight. She supposes with Dracula gone, and the night creatures under control, that is something many individuals will enjoy again without fear... For now. She finds the whole charade of courting quite silly, if she's to be honest, though. There is, after all, work to be done. Important work. And she has friendships to tend to.
She sits on a large boulder at the edge of a small clearing, one that leads to a path winding through the woods and by streams, watching the sun begin to sink below the horizon. She wonders why a stroll beyond dusk is so much nicer than a stroll in the warm sun, and wonders who set that up. Certainly her potential mate will agree with her and they can reschedule this silliness.
Sypha's hood is pulled up and her cloak drawn so not much of her is visible, and she hums idly, feet tapping on the ground as her patience wanes. )
[It had been suggested to Grievous that he should get out more - stop his preoccupation on battles and brooding about the past. A blind date? It sounded ridiculous but turning down the arrangement may make him look afraid of trying something different... and so he agreed to go to the location and meet this mystery person.]
