Sometimes, these things happen. Sometimes, you're in just the wrong place at just the right time, or you've made the wrong (or right, depending on your intentions) person mad. Sometimes it's better for everyone if you just go. Sometimes there isn't time for good-bye.

LOST
You've managed to lose yourself somewhere out there, for whatever reason it was. Maybe you took someone with you (willingly? not?), or you found someone else who needed to disappear as badly as you did. You're in your car, or a cheap hotel, or a house by the side of the road. What else can you do but watch, and wait?

FOUND
It could have been as simple as being glimpsed at the 7-11. Your phoneline wasn't as secure as you thought. You locked eyes with the wrong person across the room. Now the house of cards is collapsing, and maybe not just your life, but the lives of everyone you love could be in jeopardy now. The walls are closing in, and your arms are giving out.

[ota for gen, m/m for ship. The question is more what isn't John on the run from? Come along as join the hiding or you can be the chaser. Hope your character can drive because John doesn't.]

Now, wait just a moment!

[Exasperated, Newt seems to only be able to round about in circles, angrily pointing a finger in John's direction. His other arm is clutched close to his chest, his briefcase pressed tight against him like he's protecting it from something. Or rather, in this case, someone.]

What's inside is very dangerous, more than you could ever possibly imagine. I can forgive you pulling me into your realm with little to no explanation and no way out, I can look past the fact that we're on the run from an incredibly powerful demon - which, by the way, I'm incredibly aware you're using me as a lure to expose himself - but I cannot - No, I will not stand by and let you use my creatures to set a trap!

[They've been traveling around together for weeks now, and Newt is no less exasperated by John now than he was when they first met. The fact that they're on the run together only makes matters more tense, particularly given how skittish Newt is about the whole ordeal. He's all worked up now, pale skin on his face flushed, hair wild as somehow the gravity around him seems to be working against him as he rounds about on gangly legs.]

[ooc: I'll leave it up to you as to whether or not he and John have fooled around or are a thing, or are just two magic users stuck together to defeat whatever's hunting them down!]

[Hey! Are you familiar with the BEAST novel? Because I think that's the only place these two have any chance of interacting in canon, and we could do something with that.

Otherwise we could come up with an AU where Odasaku is alive somehow and finds Atsushi instead of Dazai?]
