[ Nemuri could say that she was a kind, softhearted, and pure woman; otherwise, she wouldn't have been a Pro Hero or a teacher.

However, she wasn't above pettiness - and when Seifer had invited her to the SeeD Graduation Ball as his date, she knew that it was her duty to make all of Balamb weep.

Oh, it was true that Seifer had his reasons for failing the SeeD exams. However, that was only because he was destined for other things... And this was now for all of the naysayers and detractors who never gave him a chance, much less thought he'd become a fine instructor.

She'd insisted on meeting him at the ball itself. She knew she'd made the right decision when the doors to the hall swung open. An audible hush fell across the crowd as Nemuri stood at the threshold - adorned in sheer black lace and sequins, ethereal and glittering.

Her eyes met his across the room, and she gave him a radiant smile. ]

[ Seifer Almasy. The top Gunblade instructor in all of Balamb, now in his nineteen years of age. (Birthday is in December 22nd but shh). He was there to teach and was the most strict but efficient one out there. His students always came out stronger, more focused, inspired and smarter than before. He was perhaps the youngest instructor that never really graduated SeeD and wasn't a Soldier. He liked that arrangement well. He wasn't made to follow orders and go on missions, he was made to show true power and agility to his students--to frighten them with how unfair the actual battlefield would be.

Squall was too busy being a commander and with very little Gunblade pros out there, Seifer was welcomed with open arms. An arrangement that seemed to work so well, everyone was surprised. Former teachers were now admiring a manlier Seifer. He was impeccable and had a bigger physique now, imposing nature and a confident gaze that no longer seemed arrogant but secure.

There he was in the Graduation Ball. After congratulating his students for making it past the exams he himself never made it through, he greeted the former teachers and authority figures that--somehow--did not detest him. Maybe they felt envious of him. He was clad in the Graduation uniform, a formal attire intricate and elegant. However, he was stubborn enough to ask for the white variant of the uniform. Impeccable white attire that made him look like absolute royalty--like the commander of Balamb. His golden hair slicked back, his boots poilshed and sparkling clean, the smell of cologne subtly hitting everyone's nose, his golden shoulder pads making his figure look immaculate.

However, when the teacher he's talking to gasps at the gorgeous dress of someone, Seifer frowns and turns around only to leave an inaudible gasp. That was her!

Then, the shock turned into pride, a smirk coming to his lips. Ever the elegant and impressive woman. That was Nemuri. That's his mistress. He could already hear the young graduates and teachers ask who she was, so he adjusted his uniform and cooly walked over to her, stopping before her with a royal-like bow. ]

[ He looked absolutely dashing. Seifer cut a fine figure in his uniform, even amidst the well-dressed crowd. He stood taller than most, which already drew attention, and on top of that, his attire only served to highlight the broadness of his shoulders and his powerful physique.

She was proud of him. She'd heard what his students had said, and while many feared his ferocity and strength (and occasional cockiness), he taught them the value of resilience and hard work. And, most of all, she was happy that his students knew he understood them - from the most bookish and the meekest of them to the loudest, most obnoxious brats. That was something she wished she'd been able to give to him when he was a student, but it worked out, because he was now able to look at his own students with understanding.

The crowds parted for them, and the murmurs and gasps started anew when they met at the center of the ballroom. He bowed before her, and Nemuri slipped her hand in his, gracing him with a brilliant smile. ]

[ You know he can't resist a gallant gesture. The romantic knight within him was still brimming with furor and his dream--while not dead--was more realistic now. He wished to be the knight for a woman worth of her time and this was it. This woman was for one a looker, making any dress look so elegant and mesmerizing. Secondly, her confidence had every girl in the ball impressed and/or jealous. Thirdly, every guy was having a few thoughts and gathering courage to ask her out possibly.

Too bad for them!

He gently holds her hand and lifts it to kiss her knuckles ever so tenderly, limiting himself to do just that. If he kisses any further, he might just be unable to stop himself. ]

Mistress Nemuri.

[ His voice was low and just for her to hear, standing up right and tall... and of course, puffing his chest out a little, as if to impress her, flaunting his bright colors to attract her more almost. He too had a smug smirk on. ]

I'm so very glad you could join me for this ball. You look positively stunning tonight, as always.

[ It is also funny how they are contrasting in color. He's fully clad with white save for his boots and she's wearing black! ]
