( it's finally getting colder, which means more blankets and more cuddling and more of wally explaining the scientific phenomena of speedster body heat that he only expects tommy to half listen to. they always end up on the couch, even though they rarely actually pay attention to the tv that has been playing a marathon of holiday movies for the past week. wally makes hot chocolate that tends to be forgotten because their mouths become otherwise occupied, their hands more interested in pushing underneath shirts than holding mugs. that's just how things are with them; when they're together, they revolve entirely around each other and nothing and no one else exists. )

You know, I almost feel bad for this couch. We've really put it through the wringer a few times.
