ANGST MEME


Sometimes we all want to play some angst and see just how far our characters can and will fall.

1. just depressed.
Things are tough, you're feeling worn out, or whatever the case, you're depressed. You need help or someone else thinks you do anyway.

2. abandoned.
You were left behind by everyone you hold dear and now you're forced to see how well they've adjusted, how happy they all are while you're screaming inside.

3. sick.
Cold, flu, or something even worse, all you can do is lay back and let someone take care of you.

4. fight.
You've been fighting nonstop with the other person and it just keep escalating.

5. break up.
You're being broken up with and they won't reconsider... Damn.

6. separated.
For some reason, you've been separated from the other person for a long time.

7. kidnapped.
You've been held captive for how long now? Maybe they've been torturing you even, using your blood to write ransom notes, threatening to cut off fingers to send next, etc. Rescue is on the way though, right?

8. beaten up.
Just because someone didn't like you or maybe they wanted something you had, whatever the case is, you're coming home sporting some nasty wounds and bruises.

9. jealousy.
You just have this undeniable jealousy suddenly and you need to let it out.

10. cheated on.
This goes beyond just suspicion and you have full on proof of what your lover has done. How do you handle it?

11. apathetic.
You're not sad, you're not happy, you just... don't feel much anymore. The sparkle of life has gone right out of you and you're just going through the motions now.

12. addicted.
Drugs, alcohol, whatever your drug of choice is, you can't fight the draw and you can't draw yourself out of the hole, but the other person is going to try.

13. bad romance.
You know this isn't good for either of you, but you can't stop now.

14. fear.
Nightmares, the feeling someone is following you, etc. You can't shake the feeling.

15. insanity.
You're seeing things and hearing them, waking up only to realize you've done things you don't remember or you're in a place you weren't before. You're losing it and you don't know what to do.

16. guilt.
It's eating you up inside and you have to tell someone about it now. You want to be punished and you won't take no for an answer.

17. loss
You've lost something dear to you.

18. wild card.
Combine some options or make your own!

[A late dinner in the cafeteria, against all rules. Distict 13 ran a tight ship, but Johanna got away with a lot of shit since she got released from the hospital and kicked out of the military. She tries not to be mad at Finnick for making it out un-tortured. And that Annie was captured too, but only to make Finnick mad. They knew she didn't know any secrets of the rebellion. The mad girl.

[Roose Bolton was accustomed to silence. More than accustomed; he was committed to it. ”A peaceful land, a quiet people,” was what he had told Ramsay, time and time again in the seemingly vain hopes that the lesson would penetrate his bastard’s skull. Roose’s lands were peaceful and silent, as was the Dreadfort. Within the Dreadfort, even the rats dared not raise their voices unbidden. Such silence instilled fear in others, and that knowledge further comforted Roose Bolton.

Winterfell had always been filled with noise. Roose had visited the keep many times over his life, and under the rules of the Starks it was typically alive with sound. On those visits, he had sometimes heard Winterfell on his approach, granted the wind was not too fierce. Even now, it was a place of clamour and commotion. Even now, under his own rule and in the midst of a siege with Stannis Baratheon maintaining a grim vigil out in the clutch of winter’s beginning, like a vengeful wraith.

The hallways of Winterfell were rife with argument and hushed conspiracy. The Northern Lords clashed frequently, and when they were not quarrelling with each other they were whispering about the mistreatment of the Lady they thought to be Arya Stark. Lady Barbrey had been right that this girl, this Jeyne Poole, was doing more harm to than even Stannis. Whenever the quibbling died down so the participants could gather breath, the silence was filled with sobbing. Roose did not like this noise. He wanted silence.

And he knew who was to blame.

This “Arya Stark” ought to have smothered the lingering hatred the Northern Lords nursed. She ought to have been the final step in the transition from Stark rule to Bolton rule, but Ramsay had not taken a single lesson to heart. He had immediately set about breaking his new toy and therefore turning everyone against him. There were those who loved the Starks still, but also those who may have otherwise been loyal but were disgusted by the treatment of the girl, any girl. Ramsay was ruining them all.

I could have given him a rare greatsword of Valyrian steel, thought Roose. And he would have bloodied it not on an opponent, but on defenceless animals just to see them split apart.

Roose didn’t go anywhere in Winterfell alone, not with the recent killings, but he was fairly certain Jeyne Poole was not the murderer. He left his guards outside with the guards who kept her locked away. The Leech Lord did not knock. He simply walked on in, and let the door shut behind him. This noise had to end.]
