Open in terms of canon mates, verse mates, and cross canon. Seriously, I adore crossover and AU shenanigans. Fair warning that tags will be slow as I'm in the midst of the busy season at work.

Possible ideas (and feel free to riff off of them to come up with something else!):

1 - She's with the First Order and the sexual relationship is a natural extension of being Supreme Leader. If the other person is someone she 'works' with the relationship is likely kept quiet for the sake of their reputation/status with others. Another option is the other party being a current prisoner that she's decided to keep alive and the sexual aspect is part of the reason (perhaps with stockholm and/or lima syndrome factoring in), or a prisoner who was reconditioned/brainwashed via the Force to want to willingly stay/switch sides.

2 - She's defected to the Resistance (for reasons that can be decided upon) and her and whomever have to keep the sexual relationship on the downlow because there's no way the kink wouldn't get misinterpreted based on her past. Who knows, perhaps the kink is even a conscious effort on both parts to try and channel her lingering dark urges into something arguably safer. Perhaps the other party gets off on the danger element and doesn't want her to completely lose that darker side. There's lots of ways it could shake out.

And lastly, on the off chance someone else likes off-the-wall ideas, I present option 3 - young!Obi-wan as the father figure/mentor she always wanted, who spoils and pampers her in a bid to keep her questionable urges and the dark side at bay. Obviously a scenario brought about by some kind of timeline reality-bending nonsense. (NO daddykink, just more of a nurturing/cared for thing. Soothing the savage beast, etc.) I'm also open to subbing in someone else with a similar vibe, basically just exploring the idea that perhaps the right kind of attention and affection could mend the damage already done. ]
