Crossover pairings are fun. Arguably, they can be one of the best parts of panfandom RP. After all, there's nothing quite like that spark when two characters just "click," especially when it was completely unplanned. AWESOME.

Unfortunately, in a lot of shipping memes here and elsewhere, the environment isn't really conducive to spontaneity. People usually just stick to castmates or close friends, and don't tag out due to lack of knowledge of canons or just plain intimidation. That's not fun for those of us who want to throw caution out the windows and just try crazy things, like throwing a Thor at a Sailor Moon (which, really, isn't that crazy of an idea if you look at the mythos for both series...).

This meme's for you, risk takers, crack shippers, or people who just want something new. All there is to do is fill out a tiny blurb so that people who don't know your canon will have some idea about your character. Then, go. Play. Don't let anything stop you. Don't know where to go with an idea? Wing it! The prompts here are not the super specific variety that most ship memes have, where you almost have to have canon knowledge. Want to reply to a character but have no idea where to begin? Make things up! The more creative, the better.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Strong character who can kind of help keep him in line. He wants someone smart and fun too but who can help keep his priorities straight. Open to all genders.

Jaime had become ill, and the elder man's broken paternal instinct had driven him to take the role of care giver. He'd a tray with soup and crackers, as well as a steaming cup of pale honey-lemon tea.

"How are you feeling?" he questioned, gentle in concern, his huge dark eyes fixed on the teen resting upon the couch. The drell placed the tray on his knees, awaiting his companion's readiness before handing it over.

"I feel okay. Just really tired and my throat hurts. I thought the armor would keep me from getting sick. Guess not."

Why would Karl make her go through an arranged marriage? It was just aggravating to even think of it. She didn't mind Jaime by any means. From the times they had met, he seemed like a pretty cool guy. That didn't mean she wanted to marry him, though...]

[ it's no big surprise that billy doesn't care about much — the game, and stu, maybe. he's neck deep in some kind of power play, enjoying the thrill of their terrified victims when they realize it isn't a game anymore and they've lost. but it's just the start, isn't it? it's been a year now and the main attraction is tonight. all they have to do now is piece together the finer details.

so, he's in the kitchen mixing together the red dye and corn syrup — just like carrie. the smile curving his lips is one of pure boyish glee even as he dips a finger into the mix to taste test it. the change in expression, a quirk of his lips downwards and an arch of a brow, is the only indication he gives to not being entirely pleased with the fake blood so far. unscrewing the top of the bottle of food dye, he calls towards the kitchen door: ]

[Harley had planned on a nice quiet night on the town-- a nice club, a little music, a little wining and dining, and maybe a little low level property damage if the mood was right. What she got was a police raid before she'd even finished her first cocktail.

Sure the club was a well known hangout for lowlifes and criminals, and sure the owner had mob connections, and okay maybe there was an illegal weapons deal happening backstage, but still! This was clearly discrimination! Profiling! And just plain rude!

Now instead of making a night of it, she was squeezed into a secret room at the back of a utility closet with a flashy stranger as they waited for the cops to clear out. She gave him an appraising sidelong look, as best she could in the dark cramped quarters.]

[Meister could have cleared out the club and escaped if he'd really wanted to. Problem was that there were a lot of cops here and if even one of them got out of control it was game over and back to jolly old Arkham. For once in his flamboyant life he'd taken the subtle route and hid while the plebians got themselves arrested for boring crimes.]

Some prompts will be difficult due to his requirement to travel. Please, no children/baby prompts.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Probably someone that wouldn't mind lots of travel, the sometimes dangerous line of work that he has, and the quirks of his own nature.

[Okay so.... dating someone who traveled a lot and took on just as dangerous jobs as she did... It was nice. At least he could connect with her a lot better. She didn't really have to worry about his safety because he could hold his own. Just as she could hold her own.

On a daily basis, she took on dangerous jobs taking down bounties. Even so... meeting one's parents... How was that so much scarier than meeting any kind of parent? Oh dear god. Would they like her? Would they... dislike her?]

About: Carter's a sweet, idealistic boy with a fondness for blowing up Nazis. He's the head of explosions for an underground Allied sabotage and espionage organization working out of a German POW camp. He tries to keep up a bright smile in the worst of situations, though in some cases it's more coping mechanism than genuine optimism.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Someone a bit more sensible than him, since he's got no sense of his own, but also someone who can tolerate his pyromania. And perhaps people who are less concerned about that whole sex thing. It's okay, just not his thing.

About: Grizzled old cop with a vigilante streak, hanging on the cusp of retirement and refusing to let go. He carries around a lot of noir-style guilt and emotional repression, but to someone who's made the effort to get close to him he'll start to open up his shell.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Manly beer-drinking action-movie-watching men, ideally ones not young enough to be his grandchildren. He'd want someone who'd at least understand where he's been, even if they haven't been there themselves. Romantic friendships with women are also welcome, there just won't be sex happening.

Usually SHIELD does this sort of thing but usually when the other guy punches out an exterior wall it's an office building, not someone's apartment and Bruce is apparently a glutton for punishment. He's already spoken with a number of families this morning--he leaves out the part where he actually turns into the monster--and is down to the last apartment.

There's a SHIELD agent stationed outside the door, likely the occupant's escort. They try to minimalize excess looting and damage as much as possible. The agent straightens as he approaches, "Dr. Banner."

He just gives a reserved smile and a nod, before stepping through the door. It's not too much of a mess, he thinks, but without a wall it's temporarily inhabitable. He rubs his hands together, "Uh, hello?"

Fuck fuck fuck. Badd's on the verge of Hulking out on his own. His first week of parole, his first chance at having some nice time to himself outside of a jail cell, and some...thing breaks in his kitchen wall. He's refused to move out (he's got nowhere else to go and not much money besides his pension), so he's in the kitchen re-nailing the tarp he put in to keep the wind out.

The voice isn't familiar but Badd is sure it's a government goon. They have a smell to them. He's dealt with enough of them taking his statements and making him sign documents saying he won't press charges. If he wasn't trying to be on good behavior he'd seriously consider it but Badd's got no friends in the justice system anymore. The plea bargain used up the last of his good will.

"The hell do you want?" he snaps, not bothering to look up. "Unless you're here to give me a new apartment I'm not interested."

About: A therapist with the ability to go into people's mental worlds and poke around until his patients are a bit more capable of handling their own psyches. He's also a part-time member of an international organization of world-saving psychics. Vladik is extremely kind and sympathetic towards people in pain, with some small self-inflicted repression of his darker emotions.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Someone with a strong ethical and moral character, a drive for justice, and the ability to sit calmly in parks at sunrise. Psychic ability not required in a partner, but they'll have to put up with levitating tea kettles every once in a while.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Someone capable of holding their own against him, seeing through his BS and his issues without tossing him out with them. Strong and stable, though not necessarily extroverted, personalities a plus. Ladies and gentlemen both okay.

Build-up mode would be especially neat, but go for whatever!

Oh, and he also has a special ability that lets him know when someone is lying.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: More than anything, Apollo likes guys that can challenge him - intellectually, professionally, even challenging his temper would count. While intelligence is a BIG plus, it doesn't matter as much as being able to keep his attention. He's a sucker for mysteries and intriguing backgrounds. Otherwise, Apollo appreciates similarly independent men, especially if they can encourage him to get out of his apartment and do fun things every once in a while.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Someone a bit more calmer than she is, since she's rather emotional, and honesty is a huge plus. Also, someone who can put up with her derp moments and who will be okay with her sometimes wandering off to do her own thing for a while.

There was something inexplicable in the night sky of the night Ferrus had actually met April - a meteor with such intensity that people were afraid it'd crash down on some poor unsuspecting bystander's head.

To be more accurate, it didn't. It crashed in the middle of the wasteland, a spaceship battered to its basest components, that just sat there. Slowly smoking, as though it was just as happy to blow into smithereens as it was sit there. Doing nothing.

Whether April was nearby or simply explored nearby to find the spacecraft - which had no doubt found its way into rumor - she might hear the sounds of someone shifting inside.

However, what appeared to be the exit door lay sadly unpowered and half-deep in the ground, impossible for whoever (or whatever) was inside to force open.

About:
Steve Rogers was a skinny kid raised in Brooklyn during the Great Depression. He topped out about 98 lbs and had a long list of health problems. This never stopped him for stubbornly standing up for what he believed in and he got in his fair share of fights over it. When World War II hit he tried to enlist four separate times only to be denied over his health. The fifth time, Dr. Erskine saw what a good person he was and how dedicated and signed him up for the Super Soldier Serum.

The procedure was successful and he became Captain America. During the war, he crashed a plane into the arctic, was frozen and then unthawed by a government agency called SHIELD almost seventy years later (aka. now). He serves as leader of the superhero group known as The Avengers. He's still figuring things in this century out so he can be a little old-fashioned.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Intelligent, confident people that don't have a problem with him being Captain America but who can also look past it to Steve. Uhh, it's hard to say more than that because I've played out ships of all types from really sweet people to Tony Stark so it's safe to say Steve would give anyone a chance. He tends to see the best in people.

Note: Steve is incredibly awkward/shy around women. A relationship with one would take forever to get to. (His Mun prefers slash but will do het so long as you don't expect any smut :3)

About: When Lucca was young, her parents were killed. Being good friends of Karl, her father begged him to take care of her as if she were his own daughter. Karl took her in as apart of her father/his good friend's death wish, raising her like his own daughter. She never once really thought of him as a father, even if he adopted her; He was more like her dear guardian.

When Train Heartnet came along, he became a sort of brother figure to her. He was the dearest thing to her. To protect her from the dangers of being connected to Chronos in some ways, they taught her how to use a gun. When he left, Lucca went to find him and became a Sweeper. Two years later [12], she found Train, Eve, and Sven.

After the events that happened, including Creed's final defeat, Train disappeared for three years. Three years later [15 now], he returned and she became a better Sweeper and a lot more confident.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Lucca tends to be attracted to guys who are confident, but not over confident. They have to be fun and interesting. She feels that it's important not to feel intimidated by her job. She's not too picky, really. She's pretty chill about it.
