When Weiss first joined the Titans her only goal was to become a hero like her Grandfather. To live up to her family name and bring it pride where her father had made it something tainted. She didn't care about the others or even Robin's role as leader. However that changed over time. Little by little she had grown fond of the others. Starfire especially in a unique way that the others were starting to see, but she had refused to.

This was evidenced by their latest adventure. Starfire was to be wed to some grotesque alien by an arranged marriage. Even before they knew it was a plot by Blackfire, Weiss was clearly against it. There was this sinking feeling in her heart. A feeling of loss and hurt. She was suspicious about this, but more than that even if it was legitimate she realized she didn't want it to happen.

Weiss was both relieved and angry when it was discovered to be a plot by Starfire's sister. When fighting did break out during this no one fought harder than her. A primal feeling was inside her, a need not to lose anyone else.

Now it was over, they had returned home. Despite this Weiss still felt tense and it was obvious in her demeanor to her friends though they weren't entirely sure why. She was taking a quiet moment to herself in her room. What was once just a room filled with clothes and other things she brought along now had pictures of herself and her friends. She couldn't help but smile fondly at a big one of herself and Starfire.
