[ Touch is one way androids exchange information, and an easy way to spread deviancy aka ~emotions. Beyond that, she feels just like a human, and even though technically she can't feel (something something made to simulate the human body) she... still kinda will. Idk man this is DBH what do we expect here. ]

pre-bodyjack, mid-bodyjack or post bodyjack.

[ It had been several weeks since she and Dick had returned from their journey to Rapunzel's old tower. She had gone with the smallest ember of hope in her chest, and had returned with the light burned out. Some part of her had known the truth - she had seen Gothel stab Eugene, had seen him bleed on to the floor in front of her. But she hadn't been able to admit to it until she saw for sure. For so long it was the reason she had fought. It was the reason she had held on to her magical hair. Maybe if she could see Eugene one more time, a miracle could occur.
But there hadn't been any miracles.
There had been the body of the man she could have loved. There had been countless tears shed as she warbled her incantation over and over to no avail. There had been a small funeral where Rapunzel watched with eyes to sore to cry anymore. She watched as her love and her dream were buried.
Dick had been beside her the whole time, or, at least whenever she would allow it. She was grateful, but when they had returned to the manor, she closed herself away in her rooms, only opening the door when Alfred would bring her meals. She could bear to face anyone as the grief of it all washed over her. She slept fitfully, dreaming of the life she might have had if Eugene was still there. She ate little, only enough to keep the others from becoming too concerned. They all came around - Dick, Alfred, even Damian - and knocked at her door. She would quietly tell them she was alright, but needed time to herself.
And so it went on until one night as she dreamt of Eugene. His words echoed in her ears even as she woke that next morning.
Well, that's the good part I guess. You get to go find a new dream.
Tears stung in her eyes once more, but there was a strange, new lightness in her chest. The ache of loss was still there to be sure, but it didn't sting quite as much as it had the day before. She got out of bed, washed up in the attached bathroom and changed. After, she looked at herself in the mirror. She was pale, and there were dark circles under her reddened eyes. She looked a mess. Her multicolored hair was tangled all about her, as she hadn't been taking proper care of it. A few notes of her song would fix things right, but she shook her head at her reflection and walked away.
And for the first time in too long, she opened the bedroom door and walked down the hallway.
It took some time, but eventually Rapunzel found Dick in the dining room, eating breakfast. Quietly, she took the seat nearest him. She glanced at him and twisted her hands nervously in her lap. ]
I have a favor to ask you.
