[ This day has been, from beginning to end, a surreal experience. It was just a day like any other day, without anything particularly special about it, except that neither of them had any work to do. He'd woken up with Fjord just like every other day, but they got to have a bit of a lie in. Fjord helped him get his dress on, one bought specifically for today, they'd taken public transport to the courthouse, met Yasha and Beau outside. Signed some papers arranged by Bryce and, oh yeah, they got married.

So that happened.

If Molly was being honest, the whole thing was probably one of the most romantic experiences of his life. Admittedly not hard, given how large a percentage of that life he can't remember, but still. The casual warmth of it all, from waking up together, to being pressed up against each other in Zadash public traffic--not to mention the look on Fjord's face as he said his vows. If he ever doubted that he knew what love actually felt like, he would only have to look back to today. Even sitting in a too-nice restaurant for the likes of their rag-tag bunch, having toasts shouted at them by Jester, a drunk Caleb, a drunker Beau had been an experience worth having. Even knowing that Fjord was itching to leave, whispering to Fjord that patience would make getting this dress of of him even sweeter, had been worthwhile.

But that was the day, and finally after too many drinks amongst their friends and Nott herself telling everyone they needed to get home and put themselves to bed, the happy couple was returning home. Molly toed off his heels when he passed through the threshold of their apartment, a laugh still on his lips from some joke he can half remember making. ]
