Time For Some Drunk History/Canon Storytime

Everyone's got something they can just go on and on and on about, even when they're a little bit drunk. Or a lot bit drunk. In fact, honestly? Maybe they've even got a better handle on it when they're drunk. So honestly-- honestly?

Just. Sit there. And let them tell you about it.

how do.
- Post a top-level with character info, including what thing they can nerd on about. Is it a particular time in history? Is it how magic/science/an ice cream machine works and the astounding ways it came to be like that? Is it their take on that one thing that happened in canon?
- Tag other folks with questions about their topic or a general gentle prompt to get them rambling.
- Roll to see how drunk you're getting (or not; we're not the cops) and tell the people the thing you know while you're super coherent.

3] A few hard drinks in - Okay, so, sentences are hard and you don't know how to pronounce the one thing but you are damn sure this is how it went down.
4] Plastered - Listen, you'll answer that question in a second, but has the other person seen what the table looks like if you put your head down on it.

It isn't that Horatio doesn't enjoy his work. It isn't that he doesn't want to spend the rest of his (likely short) life surrounded by the men he's surrounded by and risking himself for the principles they all stand for.

It's just that it's exhausting spending every minute of every day being worried someone's going to discover he's not 'proper.' The strain makes seedy bars all the more welcoming, and familiar accents all the easier to want to prod into simply chatting--regardless of topic.
