► Another character replies and is struck with the sudden urge to take care of them (bringing them soup, extra blankets, Sudafed, sexual healing, what have you).

"Define 'work out'." He lays back against the bed once Ludwig pulls away. Nudge nudge nudge nudge nudge WHOMP! There goes a pillow.

He bends and gets the pillow placing it back on the bed. "Somehow, we'll figure out how to keep your job. You'll become comfortable, at least, with the pregnancy, even if you never like it. And we'll have the most beautiful baby ever," he says.

No, he doesn't want the pillow there any more. So nudgenudgenudgeWHOMP! "Even if I keep my job, am I really gonna want to go back? Most of 'em are assholes..." He's sure he's complained often enough before about how they treat women and Omegas. The large pillow is about to go over the edge of the bed next.

He picks up the pillow and places at the very end of the bed, reachable if Gil wants it, but out of the way. "Then perhaps a new job. I know you are good at airplane design, what about other mechanical vehicles?"

"I really don't wanna have to start all the way at the bottom again..." Besides, he loves flying, even if his eyesight being what it is makes it unlikely he'll ever get a pilot's license. He can't quite picture feeling the same passion for, say, cars.

"You shouldn't have to, you have achievements to your name, perhaps another airplane company then?" he said. Maybe he'll get a pilot's licenses just to take Gilbert flying. If they get a small Cessna, then no one would have to know if he allows Gilbert to fly a bit.

Gilbert was willing to have a kid for him, he'll make sure Gilbert can fly, somehow.

"...Kehehehe. We'll see. Maybe I'm just being too pessimistic and everything will be fine." Here, have a brave smile. He doesn't want to worry Ludwig any.

He's worried anyways, but he's reassured by seeing that smile.

Gilbert finally makes himself as comfortable as he's going to get in the hospital bed. "Hey... Don't touch my nest okay? We can..." he yawns, "move my stuff into your room when I get back..."

He'll be asleep soon after.

He presses a kiss to Gilbert's forehead and mentions that he'll come back tomorrow. Right now, it's time to visit the library and make sure everything is prepared for Gilbert and the baby.
