[ So it turns out that wrecking your limbs during practice is much more inconvenient than you might think.

At the time, Deku had just been focusing on doing his best, exceeding his limits, getting stronger - but that resulted in him busting both of his hands up pretty badly. He still wasn't very good at controlling One For All, and now he's got the throbbing fingers and limp wrists to prove it. Recovery Girl wasn't willing to help him out this time, either, which meant he'd just have to deal with it for the time being.

His first major problem: the post-training showers. He managed to peel off his clothing with only a little difficulty, and washing his body was easy enough (even though it hurt; but heroes need to handle pain constantly, so he figures that's just another part of his training).

But then he tries to wash his hair, and it's apparently just a little too high up, because as soon as he tries to put some shampoo into his curls his hands just fall down to his sides. He winces, then tries again, but to no avail. Even crouching down doesn't help, so he finally just stands under the spray, the shampoo slowly dripping off of his fingertips.

He can hear the others laughing and joking, but it's hard to resist the pull of his negative thoughts. Eventually the other showerheads turn off and the voices fade away, seemingly leaving him alone with his shattered fingers and sharp-edged feelings, the water bouncing off of his drooping shoulders. ]

Aqua's not exactly surprised that she and Leon have gotten... close in the time since she was rescued from the Realm of Darkness. She's also not surprised that they've mutually agreed to not advertise the fact.

It would end in people being pushy about things, because as well meaning as everyone is both Aerith and Yuffie can fall too easily in to being overbearing with it all.

It did, however, make some things a bit more delicate than necessary. Like when the Princesses of Heart decide that holding a ball is a good and necessary thing. Even moreso when Jack Skellington decided that if they were going to have a masquerade ball the best world to have it on was his.

Which, really, the Pumpkin King had a good point and nobody could really argue with it.

So Aqua stood, waiting outside the town square for Leon. She was still in her armor, though there was frost crawling between the plates and a chilly fog spilling down her back where a cape would be.

There's a friendly tilt to her head when she does see him, "Shall we?"

[House arrest can kiss his whole entire ass. Not only is he missing out on regular classes and training, but he's missing out on all of his supplementary classes. Not only is he falling behind everyone else, but he's also falling behind the one other person who'd been held back with him.

The one other person he's grown to appreciate, who's been practically ignoring him since the exam.

It's his last day stuck washing down the dorms but Midoriya's absence is stinging more than he'd thought it would. Even more so when he comes back in from taking out the trash to see Todoroki on the couch in the common room with his notebooks spread out around him.

He's barely had a chance to text him in the last three days, let alone spend any time with him, and here he fucking is, just studying like nothing else is going on. As if being told by all of the teachers not to fill him in or help him out with anything should mean anything between the two of them!

Eyeing Oujiro and Sato sitting close-by and Uraraka and Tsuyu in the kitchen, he hefts the soapy bucket of water he's carried in and lets it land on the table, a few drops of water sloshing out to land on one of Todoroki's books.]

Hey less-than-half asshole-- [ nevermind his score was even less. he's not thinking about that!] How about you study that shit somewhere else instead of right in front of my fucking face and get out of my way!

[ though the look in his eyes has a little less bite than his words--even if he does still have a bone to pick. he can't just sit down next to Todoroki while everyone else is sharing the space. first he'll have to drive the others out. ]
