THE DATE MEME

Here's how it works!

1. Comment to this post with your character. List the character's name, series, and any preferences you might have in the subject.

Locations

1. Restaurant. What better way to spend some romantic time than over food? Maybe you're at the fancy restaurant in town, or maybe you just couldn't afford anything nice, so you're at the nearest diner. Or maybe somewhere in between?

2. Games. The two of you are playing a game somewhere! You could be at a bowling alley, an arcade, a miniature golf course...the possibilities here are countless.

3. The Park. Of course, Mother Nature can provide an excellent atmosphere for romantic bonding! Perhaps you're taking a leisurely stroll through the lush grounds, or maybe you've laid out a blanket somewhere so the two of you could have a picnic.

4. Movie Theater. Or maybe the two of you are sitting next to each other in a dark room, sharing a bucket of popcorn while you're watching the latest film. Did you opt for a horror flick to keep your significant other latched to your arm -- or for you to latch to theirs -- or perhaps something they enjoy, like a sappy romance film or a cheesy action flick? Or maybe you compromised and went to see a sweet romantic comedy.

5. Skating. It's always nice to go skating, right? Are you at a roller skating rink, or did you find a frozen lake and decide to go ice skating? Which one of you needs help (you know at least one of you does)?

6. Beach. Ahh, the beach! Go ahead and set up camp wherever you like! Or if you don't watn to lay down and catch a tan, you can go swimming, or take a walk along the shore! Or if you don't want getting sand on your feet or in your shoes, go hit up the boardwalk!

7. Sunday Drive. Sometimes you don't really have a destination in mind. Sometimes you just want to drive and enjoy the scenery. Well, here's your chance to do that!

8. Amusement Park. There's plenty to do here! Take your date on the Ferris wheel, or the tunnel of love...or something more thrilling, like a roller coaster! Walk around with cotton candy!

9. Dance/Ball. School dance? Prom? Business gala? Whatever it is, you're there, and you've got a date.

10. Wild Card. Your choice! Feel free to pick something that's not here.

Relationships

1. Blind Date. You had no idea who you were going out with until you arrived! Was it a complete stranger, or did it turn out to be someone you knew?

2. First Date. You finally worked up the courage to ask this person out, and they agreed! How awkward is this going to end up?

3. Steady. You guys have been going out for a while. This is just another one of many dates.

4. Proposing. This isn't just any date for you. You've brought your significant other out somewhere to propose to them! Make sure to warm them up for the main event!

5. Married. You're not just dating, you're a married couple! Whether this is a special occasion or you just decided to break from your everyday life, the two of you are using this as an opportunity to remind each other just how much you love one another.

6. Wild Card. Your choice! Feel free to pick something that's not here.

I did. And it's... not bad that this worked out. It is interesting, though.

So, uh. [What do now?] What was the plan, besides. Meeting up?

...You know, I didn't think we'd make it this far.

We could either find some place quiet...or ground bridge. You think they'll notice us missing?

Do they ever notice two Vehicons going missing? I mean, aside from Soundwave he... notices everything. We could probably go somewhere without anyone noticing.

Where ever we decide to go.

The ground bridge has plenty of coordinates. At least...from what I've seen.

You fond of anywhere in particular?

Oh. I haven't been out in a while. But... it would be nice to see somewhere that isn't a cave, I think.

[Too much working on broken equipment for the energon miners.]

[You get to see a lot more when you're up in the sky as opposed to on the ground, so Kanon's able to think of a few areas.]

Alright, hope you like surprises.

[He waves his claw for the vehicon to follow.]

Depends on the surprise usually, but... I trust you.

[And he will come with! Fracas can't help but be interested in what the jet is planning, really.]

If it's any consolation, I'll try our best not to get ourselves scrapped. That'd look pretty bad for our first...date.

[Just saying it sounded...foreign.

He gets to the groundbridge controls, tapping into the computers there to set coordinates]

Yeah, that would be a pretty awful... first date. [Definitely feels odd saying it.] Th-then again, it would kind of be Vehicon luck, wouldn't it?

[He watches Kanon working, mostly going quiet for a while.]

[Once Kanon sets the coordinates, his claw reaches for the groundbridge control, opening it up.]

I'll call someone to turn it off when we get there.

[And like a gentlebot, he walks into it so Fracas doesn't walk in alone.]

All right.

[That's so sweet of Kanon. Fracas walks in with him, quiet for a few moments. Trying to think of something to say... well...]

How has the comm station been lately, anyway?

[Kanon only gives a shrug. He was rather indifferent towards his job anyway, but now it seemed even more fun than usual. Sarcasm of course.]

Lord Megatron has been overseeing us personally. Usually it's Soundwave, but I think he's growing...restless.

...

And maintenance docks?

Huh. I guess even Lord Megatron gets bored of monotony sometimes. Waiting for something to happen.

[He shrugs one shoulder in return.]

Same as usual. Which at least means the ship hasn't blown up in a while. Means the Autobots haven't been running through the halls.

You'd think they'd get their own ship instead of barging into ours. They should know by now that it doesn't get them far.

[Once they step through the ground bridge, they're greeted to the outskirts of a bustling city in the distance.]

If you wanted a drive, streets are there. Or we could just relax.

Or that they would at least use doors instead running through the walls.

[Too many Wreckers, blargh. Fracas perks, looking the area over. City. But far enough from it to be safe from any potential encroaching.]

Relaxing doesn't sound bad. And I'd hate to drive off and leave you here...

Don't even get started on that one. It's because of him we learned car modes can't fly.

[Tragically.]

I wouldn't mind. My job is observing, after all.

[But relaxing sounded good to him. He takes a seat, wings twitching idly.]

[Fracas twitches, rubbing one shoulder compulsively.]

Yeah, I remember hearing about that. Then again, we don't have wings so... I don't know what Lord Megatron expected to happen.

[They are kind of on their feet all day, after all. He sits down next to him, rolling his tires briefly.]
