You're dangerous. In the end, it doesn't matter whether you're a constant flight risk ticking time bomb or someone who's a threat to society when the moon is full or the right magic spells or demon blood enchantment is given; anyone could unluckily wind up on your business end on one bad day. Isn't it better, then, for you to just stay away and build up walls so you never hurt someone else?

There is a someone else that can make all the difference, however. Somehow, they're the only person who can diffuse the bomb that is you. Maybe it's because of your shared history. Maybe they're just the only person you truly like. Whatever the case may be, there's no surprise that you've grown close to them...perhaps too close, though you may not realize depending on how aware of surroundings you are. Now, your emotions are all mixed up, and there could even be lo-

No. Don't focus on that. Instead, just don't question it and only rely on them to get you through spells that make you a danger to yourself and others. Whether they're keeping you at bay, you're having a calm moment with them or battling with the idea of your feelings be known, or otherwise, you should appreciate them, your emotional walls or instability notwithstanding.

Comment with your character, preferences, what side they'll be, and any other information that makes you easily tagged by new people or canon unfamiliar players.

[Can easily AU this into a version of Rogue where she's recalling all her past power templates at random and is completely out of control. Or she can fill the other role if your character is one who's a threat to society.

I love me some angst, some emotional feelers, lots of property damage, shipping is fine (m/f is preferred for that), gen is fine, assumed CR is fine, an actual throwdown brawl is fine if it works with whatever we set up. Basically, hmu, let's plot something out, and then cause all the tears (or laughter, thanks to all the ridiculous one-liners superhero types seem to use).]

[Probably more likely to be the one reaching out - he's done it before. His methods of bringing people back from the brink aren't always the best but he means well, he doesn't flinch from even the most horrifying backstory, and he can take a beating if things go badly.

If you wanted to be the one reaching out to him, it could be that something's gone wrong/been corrupted with his Blood Hunter powers, or else maybe memories from his old life are making him lash out or blind to what's around him.

The call at come late, but then again, Alex wasn't much for sleeping lately. Simon's roommate was on the other line and frantic because he'd never seen the boy acting like this before. He'd begged Alex to come over and to see if she could do something to help him, or to talk him down or something like it, just so that Simon was calm again. And then he left, leaving Alex his keys outside of the door.

A door that she knocked on before she opened it, calling softly out to him, her voice just laced with a deep concern. His roommate hadn't described the behavior, so she had no idea what she was walking into, but there was one thing that she knew of when it came to Simon. She knew that however bad he was, or whatever was going on that he wasn't going to hurt her. Holding onto that thought, she just stepped into the room and moved her eyes over it.
