[Welcome to Hope's Beacon Circus! It's ranked among the happiest places on Earth and has been working on securing the most talented individuals that it can. One such person is Gundam Tanaka, an eccentric animal tamer from Japan who works with animals ranging from hamsters to lions. He also claimed the position of hypnotist, but it's unsure if those powers are actually legit.

The circus has recently acquired a new act... a mermaid! Gundam was impressed by this, having long hoped that such beings were real. Half human and half animal? That's pretty awesome in his eyes, even if he's less familiar with marine life than he is with other types of animals. Regardless, it's been decided that the two of them would work together on some type of act for next week's show, and they are free to decide on the content of this act. So Gundam makes his way towards the swimming pool that has been renovated into a practice area for the mermaid. He's dressed in the same dark clothing and scarf that he always wears, with several hamsters scampering around his clothes. He grins as he approaches the pool.]

Not bad. Your siren's song has drawn me to your lair...! [He declares that, regardless of whether or not the mermaid happens to be singing at the time.]
