Okay, first of all - your world is terrible and I am sorry you have to deal with it. Second of all, blowing up a Chantry sounds incredibly reasonable and I think everyone should do it! Third of all, what is it about people making places of worship that are also prisons? I was in one once, too, in just the worst city I've ever been in, what is that about? "Hello, welcome to our temple, please associate our gods with the idea of involuntary imprisonment!" You'd think that'd turn people off of religion, no?

Okay, okay- first of all, I really like you.

Second of all, the Circle - the mage prison - wasn't in the same building as the Chantry. It was on a little island just off the coast, so everybody could pretend things weren't all that bad. Including those Chantry fuckers.
