It is a fascinating world with utterly unique creatures. Perhaps just a short look around...

[Someone's been tampering with the multiverse. At this rate, the multiverse is probably used to it by now, but who even knows? Someone seems to find it amusing to yank 'people' from different universes and drop them in and endless maze full of random horrors. For all anyone knows, some or maybe even all of those horrors are just other victims as well with a violent streak. Whatever the cause, Sans just knows he's tired of roaming the corridors of this eternal puzzle. He's solved enough maze-like puzzles to know that he should hug a wall and keep walking, but he's done that for the past couple hours and made no progress, so either this maze is just unfathomably large or its walls shift periodically. Either option is tiresome in his humble opinion. What he wouldn't give for some of Papyrus' energy right now.

"Hey, when did you go and get so tall?" If anyone knew what Hanna had originally been, they weren't saying. She always claimed to be a cousin of the fairies in the hedge outside, and was known to bite people just the same, though she was considerably larger than they were.

Of course, it was possible that she'd been one of the ones to get lost in the Labyrinth looking for someone, or had been one of the ones stolen away, one that hadn't been rescued and hadn't been turned into a goblin but into something else.

Either way it hardly mattered, she fit there and liked it, and was currently perched on a dividing wall, crosslegged, but seemingly ready to move at a moment's notice, as she often did.

It's a stranger place. Stranger by far than any she's been yet, which is certainly saying something. It's a bit less eerie than the Great Forest she'd been sent into the thick of ages ago and that in and of itself is a relief. On the other hand, she couldn't say the idea of dying in a fae labyrinth was better than in a cursed wood. Both were dark thoughts and so Cabbage dwelled on neither, instead focusing on scrambling over decayed walls and dodging goblins.

She actually thought she was doing rather well till she was trying to carefully climb around a trip wire. The velvet bag bound to her back took a gasping breath and shuddered. It hadn't done that in some time. She'd forgotten just how horrible it was. Her foot slipped. She didn't have much more time than to give one shouted profanity before she landed square on the tripwire and was immediately bound up in a messy net of moss and rope. The howling cackle of goblins bounced off the walls as she struggled, but the net only seemed to bind itself more securely around her.

"Cursed fairy bloody nonsense," Cabbage mutters, giving up her struggles to wiggle close enough to the busted wall. She couldn't reach her knife like this, but her hands could barely grip the handle anymore anyhow. Working the rope against the jagged edge of limestone at least seemed to be wearing through it.

2 girls in a maze

This was full shit, is what it was. This is what she gets for chasing shine on a lady's wrist and not minding herself better. Or maybe it was giving her name to the wrong person, saints knew that happened sometimes. Either way, at least she knew where she was. Plenty of stories of dumb little beggars and thieves not minding themselves well enough and getting dragged off to the goblin town, to be made into goblins themselves.

Didn't sound like too bad a gig, truth to tell, but Gutters has no plans of sticking around to see if the living was as good as the hearing. She plays the artful little ghost, dodging patrols and slipping around the edges of chaos that others have already wandered into. It's the sight of the girl that makes her pause.

Young. Young and she hasn't seen anybody else who looked that young since she opened her eyes and found herself here. Alone too, in a way that don't sit right. What to do... Gutters wiggles herself out of the sizable crack in the wall she'd been worming her way thru and hisses quietly at the girl.

"Hey, 'ey," Gutter's hoarse magpie voice could pitch surprisingly low, " 'ey kid, whatcha doing?"
