I-I can't believe...

[ She was so touched by his kindness. He didn't even know her personally, but he still wanted to help out like it wasn't anything! She started sniffling and quickly stood up, trying to hide her face. ]

I-I'm sorry, is there a restroom I may borrow?

[ To save him from having to see her weepy face. ]

[A flash of worry washes over his face at her words and the start of her sniffling. He's about to move around the counter to check on her before she speaks.]

There is, yes. [He motions in the direction of it. A little room in a little nook off behind the counter.] Right in there.

Thank you...!

[ She bows her head quickly before rushing off to the little room, locking the door behind her. She felt so embarrassed, so foolish. What he must think of her getting so emotional over a kind gesture like that..!]

[He busies himself with wiping down the countertop and cleaning any dirty dishes that might still be there. He may prepare her something to eat if she stays long enough, but he honestly isn't sure if she will or not. She seemed a bit upset just now and he wasn't sure why. But he's going to give her her space and time.]

[ the door creeks open just a little, as if she were bracing herself to come out. While she was in there, she decided it might be easier to chat if she changed. Luckily she had her bag with her with her regular clothes and put her wig away nicely.

She took a deep breath and finally stepped out of the restroom. ]

I-if we're going to be friends, then we should meet properly...!

[He looks up as he hears the door open and he can't..help but stare at her for a few moments. He was ready to ask who she was, but it was obvious. There was only one girl that went in there.]

Kanami? [He says before the biggest smile curls on his lips.] I had no idea that you changed your look when you were being an idol. I'm happy to have the chance to meet the real you.

[ Her cheeks were even redder than before, partially out of embarrassment, and partially from her little episode earlier. She bowed her head low, her pigtails flopping with her. ]

I-I hope that we get along well, Akira!

[ She peeked up at him, from her awkwardly fumbled position and melted a little. Even now after seeing her like this, he still had that big warm smile on his face. ]

I am certain that we will. [Honestly, nothing had changed..well, nothing except her. And the only that about her that changed was the way she looked. Though seeing her like this makes things feel more personal, really. And his offer is still available all the same.]

Your glasses are really cute, too.

[ She finally stands up straight, but the compliments keep flowing which just embarrasses her all over again. ]

Oh um..! Thank you! I like yours too! The frames are really nice!

[ At least she's moving over to sit down again.]

Thank you. [Like him, it seemed like she could appreciate a nice pair of glasses.]

But..are you feeling okay now? I thought I might have upset you before.

Upset me...? Oh.. oh! N-no no you didn't upset me honest!

[ She turned her gaze off to the side. How many times could she embarrass herself before Akira kicked her out??? ]

I was just... really happy you said you'd like to be my friend. I guess you could say I was moved to tears.

[Akira could probably never have the heart to kick the girl out. She seemed so sweet and down to earth, especially for an idol.]

Really? I didn't know that it would mean so much to you. [It warms his heart to know that it did.] I'm happy that it did.

I'm really sorry for worrying you like that, Akira.

[ She gave him a warm smile in return. ]

I just didn't want you to have to see me all... weepy like that.

It's really alright. As long as it came from a place of joy, then I don't think I need to feel bad about it.

[But he's really so surprised she didn't get friends like this so easily. Well, it had started with him complimenting her butt. But still.]

Well, Kanami. Would you like me to prepare you something to eat too? Or do you just want to relax? [He says as he rests his hands in his pockets.]

I also live up stairs if you'd like to go and relax up there instead. [It's a long story.]

O-Oh I don't want to impose on you...! You've already been so kind to me.

[ Just ignore the sound of her stomach rumbling. It's nothing, really!

She went to finally take a sip out of the drink he made her before it registered what he said and she gave him a surprised look. ]

You live here?

You're my friend and a guest here. You aren't imposing. [He says as he starts to get out the cooking utensils. She's going to get something to eat now, no matter if she protests or not.]

Yes..I...got into some trouble before and...well, Sojiro ended up taking me in. [He says without going into too much detail. Not because he was against it, but because he wasn't sure if she wanted to hear all of that or not. He places a pan on the stove top and starts to grab ingredients from the fridge.]

[ She frowned softly at that. Gotten into trouble? She couldn't imagine someone this nice getting into any trouble, unless it was trouble of wooing too many girls at the same time. ]

I-I'm sorry to hear that. Was that... Sojiro? The one I left I mean...

[ Even after hearing that, she didn't really feel like she had anything to worry about. If he were the trouble making sort, surly the man in charge of this place wouldn't just leave him alone like this. He must trust Akira! ]

[That is the type of trouble someone his age could get into. It could make for a bad Valentines and White Day, that's for sure.]

Yes. [He says with a little nod.] He took me in, though it took him a while to warm up to me.He's really looked out for me since I have been here. He taught me how to do all of this.

[The making coffee and cooking stuff.]

Well... I'm not sure if this means much, and I may not know him, but judging by your words and his actions... I think it's safe to assume you both are very kind people.

[ She let out a tiny giggle as he lifted the cup to her lips and finally took a sip from it. It tasted amazing! It really did, even better than anything she's ever had at one of those bigger cafe type shops. ]

Th-that's amazing!

[He can't help but smile.]

Thank you. [That's to both the compliment she just gave him about himself and about the coffee that he prepared for her.]

Sojiro taught me well. He wouldn't leave this place in my hands with customers in it if I couldn't make a drink up to his standards. [Though, there are no customers in here now, he has been left in charge of it before when there were some. He sets to preparing her some curry.]

I thought you might enjoy something with a sweeter sort of flavor to it.

You definitely guessed right on the mark..! This is absolutely delicious!

[ She should be watching her weight and all, but she couldn't help it. The drink tasted so good, and she had a bit of a sweet tooth from time to time. She started drinking more of it, letting out tiny little sounds of happiness. ]

Well, you know where to go whenever you want some coffee like that. It will always been on the house for you. [He almost wants to chuckle at the tiny sounds that she's making. He doesn't think he's ever heard someone be so happy to drink a cup of coffee that he has made. The cafe would soon start to fill with the smell of cooking curry now.]

[ She set the cup down for now, only because she was distracted by the wonderful curry scent in the air. ]

Whatever you're making sure smells good... Already you're a boy a many talents it seems...!

It's a beef and vegetable curry. I would have prepared this for you first if I knew you were hungry. [A nice cup of coffee after a good meal was usually the way things went. But it's happening in reverse order this time.]

That sounds delicious!

[ It's been such a long time since she's had something like that. She knew how to cook herself, but with all the rehearsals and everything she had to go to, she never usually had time to have a delicious home cooked meal. ]

I feel so spoiled right now.
