( the snail mail correspondence meme )

You're away from home. For some reason, you're without any modern means of correspondence - maybe there's no signal for your phone, maybe you've got no phone with you at all. In any case, the only way for you to get in contact with others is by old-fashioned snail mail. Wherever you are, there's paper and writing tools enough to last you a while, though.
Now all you need is someone or something to get you started.
How to play:
- Post with your character, include name, fandom, preferences, etc.
- Others write your character a letter to get the correspondence going. Your character responds.
- Write letters to your heart's desire! Be as brief or elaborate as you want.
- Profit.

After a moment of thinking more on your friends, you hope Sans figures it out and informs the others. You also hope you get some random mail in the meantime. The thought of new friends fills you with so much determination you feel as though you might burst.
Or maybe that's just the snail pie.]

Hello! My name is Talcott. I'm not sure if this will actually reach anyone, but I thought it might be fun to see who might find this. I enjoy reading and learning new things. My favorite things in the whole world are Cactuars!
[ He puts a picture of a Cactuar inside of the letter. ]
I hope this finds someone and if you have the time it would be cool to get a letter back!
Sincerely yours,
Talcott Hester.

Hello,
My name is Vivi. I'm from... well I don't live in the Myst Continent anymore. Mog said he can send my letters anywhere in the world and that I can make friends that way.
I've traveled a lot but there are still many people I haven't had a chance to meet. What sort of things do you do for a living? I've been learning how to write and helping out around the village.
Thanks for reading!

It is a pleasure to meet you! Er... Write you? I never knew Moogles were actually real until I got this letter. So imagine my surprise when I saw a moogle fluttering in front of my very own eyes. :)
My name is Talcott Hester. I think it's really cool that you've traveled a lot. Do you have any exciting stories to share? If not, that is also fine! What I do for a living? Well... I'm too young to actually have a job job, but with my Grandpa's notebook, I'm able to help out my friends a lot to find lost items and help escort innocent people away from dangerous places. So I guess that might be my job?
Please don't hesitate to write back!
Talcott.

[ It's a tattered and incredibly aged letter -- found tucked inside a book, a copy of the famed 'Lyrical Ballads', just as old, from the bottom of an antique traveling trunk. There is no address, not even an envelope, simply a paper folded in thirds. Within it is written no name, no recipient declared. The date is terribly worn away, June of the year 18-something.
No names are listed except for one, inside the cover page of this tired and well-loved book, addressed to Ambrose Sinclair, a gift from someone whose simple signature of two initials are stained and worn away, an identity lost to time. A google search leads to one Ambrose Sinclair in New York City, associated to a Teatro Immortale, a theatre of live creative performance, musical and otherwise, with an immediately accessible street address (as well as some show times, and customer reviews.) Could it be...a grandson from some generations down? A complete coincidence? You never know -- it could well be the very same individual. ]
