On The Run Meme

Maybe something went wrong, or maybe it's just another normal day in your life, but you've found yourself on the run. Did you commit a crime, or cross the wrong person, or simply end up in the wrong place at the wrong time? Whatever the reason behind your situation is, your goal is the same: don't get caught.
 

How To Play

• Comment with your character, and if you're feeling ambitious put in a bit of a starter. Who are you running from and why?

• Respond to others, either as their partner on the run or part of the force chasing them.

• Have epic adventures, fall in love, utterly fail and get caught. See how it goes!
• RNG for some extra unpredictable fun.

Scenarios
1. Running from the cops. You broke the law, whether it was shoplifting or murder, and now you've got a warrant out for your arrest.
2. Attracted the wrong attention. You made someone angry, or obsessed, or otherwise drawn their ire and now they're after you.
3. Somewhere or somewhen. You've ended up in a place and/or time in which you're not welcome.
4. Wildcard!

Relationships
1. Friends (or more.) You've known each other for awhile and are on good terms, so hopefully you can rely on each other in this situation.
2. Circumstantial allies. Strangers, enemies, or otherwise you've ended up in this mess together, and it might benefit you both to cooperate.
3. Opposite sides. One of you is the runner, and the other is pursuing. Which will prevail?
4. Wildcard!

Complications
1. Late to the party. How many people did you piss off? In addition to whoever was already after you, someone else now is as well. Maybe they'll take each other out?
2. Confrontation. They've found you, and it's come down to a fight.
3. Disguise. You can't evade them, but you can hope they won't recognize you. Better be a good actor!
4. Wildcard!

One evening, along with the usual supply shipment waiting for Poe to pick up, there was something new: a visitor. He was older, certainly, though didn't yet carry himself like an old man, just leaning against the crates, arms folded loosely across his chest, seeming comfortable enough there aside from the almost-nervous habit of tilting his head whenever a ship took off or came in for a landing, as if he were listening to the sound of the engines.

Bodhi, like the mystic and the mercenary, but not at all like the spy and the daughter of the architect, had made himself scarce when the Empire fell, and while he'd never attained the sort of legendary status that Skywalker had, he was still well-enough known among pilots and ship maintenance techs, as he'd been with the Rebellion for a while, not necessarily a founding member, but one of their first defectors from the Empire, which made him at least a little bit of a legend, not that he was expecting to be recognized.

The patches on his jacket identified him as a Pathfinder, and he had been, for a short while, though that was almost as long ago as he'd been The Pilot, and he spread both hands at Poe's arrival, "I'm here as a friend. I have news from the stormtrooper and the maiden of the mystic arts."

Well, nothing about Noriko is fit for this time period, or largely this location either: she's busily climbing up out of a creek ravine, spitting out the water that had gotten in her mouth when she went in. It wasn't unusual for her electrokinesis to produce some funny effects if she used enough current, but this was the first time those effects had been on her, not on her target.

She was rather hoping it had only jolted her to outside the mansion in the woods on the grounds somewhere. (It hadn't.) She scrambled over the bank and stopped for a minute to catch her breath, brushing dirt and wet leaves off her shins.

Whoever meets her first is gonna get an interesting shock: possibly literally.

He's stuck between a rock and a hard place after the Battle of New York is finished. Steve can't go back to SHIELD. He somehow trusts them even less now than he did before. That is quite a feat considering his first impression was of them trying to imprison him under false pretenses. He also has nowhere else to go. Someone must have noticed that lost puppy dog look on his face in that terrible uniform once they finished eating and that someone is Tony Stark.

It takes some not-so-subtle guilt tripping and poking, but he gets Steve and Bruce to stay at one of the Stark residences to get some rest. It quickly spirals into a weekend which spirals into Bruce getting to work for Tony. Steve is getting an offer too. He clearly looked ready to bolt which is how Pepper gets called in. Clearly someone knows he's never said no to a powerful woman in his life because now he's got a security job with her. The training is officially with Happy and unofficially with Natasha (he suspects it's the only reason SHIELD is backing off him for now).

Months roll on by. There's some kind of poetry to the fact that he's getting better while Tony clearly gets worse. Steve tries to cheer him up, helped by the fact that Happy is so unbelievably extra that if Steve pokes his head in to add something to the report it really does come off as the silly guy from the 40s doesn't know any better. He doesn't know how to approach the situation directly though up until the moment Tony announces his address to the world. Then he's hopping on his motorcycle to get them because this has officially gone too far. They bailed him out when he was low. It's about time he returned the favor.

He's too late to stop the house from being destroyed. He's rolling up before anyone else can get their hands on Pepper. Steve strides past everyone who is asking what business he has here with a small helmet in his hand and paintless shield on his back. In case he's too subtle, Steve spells it out for her. "We need to go. Now."
