Maybe you stumbled across this beautiful place by accident. Maybe you don’t really want to be there at all. But at least you’re not alone — so that’s something.

He was slow to wake that morning, drawing out a long and pleased groan as he stretched out his limbs and back. It was then he realized he had been alone, surrounded instead by all the warm furs rather than the body he'd fallen asleep next to. Damn that boy, always making himself scarce whenever he was sorely desired. Seemed like a fitting punishment. How many times has Thor done the same? With a wisp of a smile, the god-man lie there a moment longer before exiting the canvas he'd shared the night with Ubbe.

"Where have you run off to now?" A fog had settled in, a thin veil that blanketed the forest. Thor inhaled deeply, the fresh and crisp morning air helping to rouse him further. And then it dawned on him, the crashing water of the neighboring waterfall. "Of course..." Leisurely, he headed in that direction, ducking behind a tree when he discovered his man enjoying himself inside the river. Beautiful, little creature. He could watch longer if he didn't feel the utmost nagging yearning for the man.

Stepping out from the treeline, still as naked as when he'd fallen asleep, he went to join Ubbe. "You refused to wake me?" Thor asked, and when he was close enough, flung water at Ubbe. Who said the gods were above silly fun? "Here I thought you'd gone hunting, but I find you here instead."
