[Connor was starting to get a little cocky. They were pursuing a human suspect. A human suspect of small stature and with no firearm, suspected of burglary. Non-violent offender with a record of largely petty and non-violent convictions. Statistically unlikely to be a real threat.

This is what he gets for thinking anything can ever be easy.

The suspect had a taser, and of course the suspect tazed him in the face. Of course.

Connor's LED blinks bright red as he falls to the ground, shaking uncontrollably as his speakers let out a terrible staticy screech. He falls still, the light going out from his LED and everything going deathly silent as all but the most essential functions power down in his body.

After thirty seconds of lying there, something in his body begins to click and whir as his LED powers back on, life returning to his eyes, and he shoots up into a sitting position.]

My name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife.

[He blinks after he says that, brow furrowing, like he's trying to figure out why he was saying it and who he's supposed to be talking to. His speakers are clearly damaged, his voice breaking up with static in a way it shouldn't. So many error messages flash in his vision that it's difficult to even see what's in front of him.]

[Well... that wasn't one of their funnest entries. Apparently the planet they passed over had a stronger gravitational pull than expected, and something about it also knocked out the power on their vehicles, including the Lions. Allura woke up sideways in a barely lit cockpit, Blue still out cold. It takes her a few minutes to remember what happened, but other than some light bruises from the jostling she seems fine. Time to check on the others and pray that the comms still worked.]

Leaving him powerless and bereft would be a nice start. It would certainly smooth some of the edges of her anger.

Allura has every intention of placing him in one of the sleep pods when she's finished, but the first thing she feels she must do is channel and remove what she can of any excess quintessence that he absorbed in the field. So instead he's been laid out on an examination table as she slowly, carefully pulls the essence via a touch at his shoulder and hand. ]
