How to play

Prompts
01. PURCHASE. Congratulations on purchasing your new synth! Please follow all instructions at start-up to ensure that your synth securely bonds to you as its primary user.

02. DOMESTIC. Your synth is the perfect addition to the family home. Primary functions include cleaning, cooking and childcare.

03. HEALTH. Synths are invaluable help for the sick, the disabled and the elderly, providing around-the-clock care for those who need it.

04. ADULT. Unlock the 18+ options in your synth to discover a whole new range of exciting features.

05. HACK. Common modifications to synth programming include the ability to simulate pain, personality alterations and removing safeguards such as the inability to harm humans. Warning: Illegal modification of your synth could invalidate your warranty.

06. GLITCH.Is your synth not performing as expected? If you discover a system error, Persona Synthetics staff will be happy to carry out a factory reset.

07. REPAIR.Synths may experience some wear and tear. Please follow the instructions in your synth repair kit to keep your synth in good working order.

08. HIRE. Synths are available to rent for a number of functions, including domestic, health and social care, sales and marketing, and the increasingly popular synth brothels.

09. ROGUE.Malfunctioning synths must be deactivated and returned immediately, for your safety. Rumors of rogue "conscious" synths are entirely fabricated.

10. HUMAN. Synths are simply machines built to serve humans. Rumors of rogue "conscious" synths living in secret in human society are entirely fabricated.

[ Open to cross-canon/ocs. Interested in Will as the human, bonding with a rogue synth who's run off/been dumped/etc and that he ends up taking juuust enough pity on to begrudgingly help. Will lives in a secluded house - he could easily come across an escaped synth in the woods near there, or otherwise get an unexpected visitor hiding near his property. Shipping fine if it builds to it, no smut. ]

He hied to the woods because there were no humans there, no one to recognize him. He changed his chassis, small things like hair style and color, but he couldn't change his hardware, and a seven foot person just screamed "Synth". Of course he downloaded information on the wilderness, survival, anything he might need, but the weather had been wet and dreary for too long, so his solar battery was running low. He could power down or go into sleep mode, stay in a field somewhere until the storm abated enough for the minimum lumen for recharging, but he was worried that humans would find him.

Instead he looked for electrical sources, scanning for unusual spikes. There was one nearby, and it was night, and raining, so hopefully the single resident (human; likely overpowered; could alert others) wouldn't notice him clad in a long dark coat as he broke into the garage and plugged into the outlet to charge. He just needed four hours and he'd be gone.

Particularly interested in some sort of sciency tinkering, possibly a synth just awakening after he has customised or build them himself. ]

[ quick bio here. interested in lee being the human who bonds with a synth, preferably with growing pains and issues of AI consciousness/etc. very up for lots of emotions, here. i'm fine with lee either coming across an injured/rogue synth, or that she/her family owns one that starts acting independently/gaining emotions. her age can range anywhere from 18-25 depending on the dynamic you might prefer/if you want the drama of her going away for college and coming back to a Dramatically Different Family Synth or not. ]

she is a "pleasure model" replicant, and eyes for a rebel replicant faction; she can adapt under most of these, especially 9/10.

[more than welcome to cross-canon & assumed cr! sonya can be either human or synth, but suits the synth role more--likely made to be a chaperone, caretaker, confidant, the constant companion. as human, she may be the one to provide shelter for the wayward straggling synth, or perhaps an orphan granted a synth to take care of her out of charity--or merely just picked up by one.]

[Definitely the android. A defective one that dreams of being human. Will try to act like her owner's wife, regardless of their gender and regardless of whether or not that is what her model is supposed to do.]

[ Otto was really starting to wonder about his lab assistant. It seemed no matter how many times he insisted she refer to him as 'Doctor' it seemed to transmogrify into 'Darling' or some other term of affection halfway out of her mouth. Whilst irritating at first, he did have to admit- having something (or someone, he found himself thinking more frequently) show you affection was very motivating. Enough he'd chosen to stop opening up her brain and tinkering to just accept the defect as a... quirk. Like that first car that you needed to treat juuuuust right to get it to start.

Though he could do without the requests he make her a real girl. He's scientist, not a fairy! ]

[Hello, this is Connor, and he's your new ~~android sent from CyberLife~~ synth.]

[So I've only seen one playthrough of Detroit so far (don't have the game myself, yet,) but I'd be happy to throw Touma at Connor. Do you have any preferences for prompts? I'm alright so long as they're not 5 or 8 (at least, not without prior discussion. And 5 because he's not got a whole lot of skill with anything electronic other than his cell phone.) Touma has some... heavy/non-ordinary issues of a sexual nature, so I totally get it if you'd rather I offer someone else. :) That aside, he's pretty stubborn (almost to a fault. Most of the time,) lives alone otherwise, and pretty much has only three solid passions: food and drink (also tied into his work) and cats. He's also not the type to treat Connor like a thing no matter how robotic he behaves.

[I tend to lean towards slice of life things with him, but I'm pretty flexible and happy to plot something else out. :)]
