The person you love is in trouble! They could be in danger or perhaps even captured, but no matter what, no one can keep you away from them for long. Be careful, though, and don't lose your head and make foolish mistakes out of passion. Remember, your loved one will be counting on you, and that may include for more than just being saved. Rescuing is a long process.

Your rescuer (or your rescued, as the case may be) isn't someone you've met before; they could be doing it out of the goodness of their hearts, for a mission, or even completely selfishly, as you'll be valuable to them. Still, they've come to free you from your prison or your most perilous of situations. While this is happening, it may be easy for emotions to run high...and feelings to burst from behind the scenes. As you ideally work together to get to safety and avoid getting caught while participating in deadly chases, you realize something problematic: you're falling for the person you've rescued or the person who rescued you.

Somebody saved your hide from certain destruction - problem is, you have no idea who they are! In your mind, however, you've started to get all kinds of ideas about them. What are they like? Well, surely they have to be this way or that way. They're most likely a saint! Oh, it's as if your heart is aflutter when you think of them. You'll stop at nothing to find out where they are. But once you do, can the real them ever live up to what you imagined?

[Normally, Casey is a very good swimmer. This is somewhat impeded by the fact that the tide seems to be dragging her out to sea, turning just a fun day on an abandoned beach into a nightmare. The waves keep pulling her under, regardless of how much she claws at the surface, and soon she's fighting to keep breath in her lungs beneath the water.]

[ Now let's make one thing clear right away: Qrow Branwen is not in any kind of trouble.

He can handle himself just fine fighting the swarm of Nevermores who keep hounding him, chasing him through the abandoned town in which he is fighting them - and not being chased through the town by them, because he has everything under control.

With his aura taxed beyond what he has known in a long time and so close to shattering, his face is drenched by sweat, cocky saunter and quips long since forgotten in favor of using every last breath to duck and leap from crumbling wall to crumbling wall and hide under an overhang one of the Grimm has gotten too close again.

Then he leaps out, swinging Harbinger in a wide arc and neatly severing an overeager Grimm's head from his neck. But there are still four of them left and he, he can feel himself just on the verge of passing out... And that's when another Nevermore descends on him with a shriek and sharp Grimm claws dig into his back before he can so much as lift his weapon in defense.

Alright. Maybe he is in trouble. ]

[ Being a guy whose day job is fighting dragons, he’s pretty good at the rescuing thing. At least, the part of it that involves fighting. The part that involves taking care of someone, making sure they’re okay and getting them somewhere safe? That’s not so easy, but dammit he’ll try.

He probably wouldn’t need to be rescued from a combat scenario necessarily. Things he can’t stab, though, he’s less great at dealing with. Find a bloody dragoon in the snow after a nasty fight? Idiot dragoon accused of heresy? Local heretic poisons dragoon’s food? RESCUE HIM FROM AN AWKWARD SOCIAL SITUATION????? Kick his stupid butt until he recovers from of a bout of dragon possession????? I’m cool with any rescue! ]

[Three days ago, the village had been attacked, and the brave hero who came to the defense of its people managed to drive them back nearly at the cost of his own life. The invading tribe of hobgoblins were forced to retreat, but did so swearing they'd come back, because there was no way Link would recover from his injuries.]

[But he did. And they paid the price, underestimating his resilience. Further spying revealed that his miraculous recovery didn't come about naturally from eating his weird recipes. No, there was someone else responsible. Someone who had before just seemed like another unassuming village girl. He should have died, watering the grass with his blood. Someone with that kind of power might prove useful to them, in resurrecting their lord: the dreaded Lich King.]

[The attack on the village comes late at night from the valley side. Meanwhile, a smaller force of reptilian warriors crawls up out of the river, water dripping from their tridents and nets. While their hobgoblin brothers draw the attention of the village warriors, and hopefully Link as well, it isn't hard for them to find the main hall where the wounded are gathering and being tended to by the girl with the strange powers.]

[A boy manages to slip out the back of the building, bravely racing through the town in search of the Hylian hero.]

The sea-pirate simply known as 'Red' had decided to stretch her legs and do some exploring, and fill her coffers with treasure to boot. That lead her to some forgotten corner of a dark forest, chasing rumors of a hidden bounty. Red apparently wasn't the only one to hear the tales, given the presence of Jessica Albert in front of her.

Red had to admit this girl was pretty easy on the eyes, and wasn't shy to say as much. The formal 'Jessica's Outfit' did nothing to conceal her ample breasts, nor her curvy figure. And the whip at her side indicated at least some skill at fighting, though Red herself preferred sneaking and stealth.

"I'm a tad surprised to find a pampered lil' thing like you way out 'ere." Red grinned, looking Jessica over. "With a bit more experience, maybe you'd know to what where you step, eh?"

Jessica's slippers seemed to be mired in some type of white slime, sticky adhesive ooze probably left by the giant slugs that populated this forest. The slugs themselves were harmless, but the trail they left behind was nearly impossible to escape from without help. Red grinned with anticipation; she felt a bit of an extortion coming on.

"I'm in the middle of a bit of business me'self, luv." Red explained. "I can 'elp, but it's gotta be worth me while. A girl's gotta keep a professional reputation after all." Of course, Red figured a firebrand like Jessica would part with any treasure she collected so easily.
