Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Blake lay awake in her dormitory bed after being awoken by the same repetitive dream. She had been following that damned lazer. No matter how quickly she darted after it was just out of sight. She would nearly give up until she came upon...Yang. The blonde's lilac eyes had a demanding, nearly predatory look. As though drawn closer by something that Blake could not control, she'd step in and then without preamble, begin kissing her partner deeply. Then she'd wake up, mortified and confused.

Her cheeks burned in the darkness. Sure, Yang had many attractive traits. She was strong, kind and beautiful. But, they were partners. That's probably all it was. She had previously been used to being in a physical relationship and because she spent so much time with the blond, her mind was probably projecting those desires onto Yang. Probably. That was probably it. Shaking her head, she got up as quietly as she could. She needed to walk around. Clear her head.

That probably could've worked if the girl in question hadn't made a sudden noise herself. Said noise being the blonde snoring quite loudly and kicking off the blanket that she was under. If Blake wasn't careful, Yang's blanket would end up atop her head.

"Mmmmfff...!" That was the last thing the cat faunus had been expecting. She nearly tripped which would have not been pleasant for her or for Weiss who was sleeping on the bottom bunk right across from her own.

She froze when she heard Yang speak. She was pretty sure that all the blood in her body had traveled to her face and ears. She peeped out from under the blanket,the moonlight from the window reflected in her feline gaze. She relaxed a hair when she saw that the blond was not actually awake. Yang's sleep-talking had gotten a bit quieter once Blake peeped from beneath the blanket, though since her hearing was better than most humans' were she'd most likely still hear her talking about sensual dreams. Either way, there was something that Yang had in common with her partner.

Blake's soul nearly left her body and she was too shocked to even scream when Yang leapt towards her. Her heart pounded as she found herself looking into her partners still-bleary eyes.
