I . Alcohol] Everything's.... Fuzzy. And spinning. And comes with either 100% more rage or 100% more hilarity, depending on what kind of drunk you and your buddy over there happen to be. Maybe you're at a party, in someone's house, or wherever it is kids drink these days- but whatever the case may be you are hitting the bottle like it's your job.

II. Marijuana] You're feeling very comfortable and relaxed, wherever you are. Pass the cheez doodles and the eyedrops and curl up on the couch with some music, a funny movie, and a friend (or hit up the nearest White Castle) because you're stoned out of your gourd.

Synthesizing a white powder from the dopamine found in the cactus, Victor measures out three hundred milligrams of it. At first his interest in it is purely scientific; he studies it under a microscope and maps out its structural formula before deciding to test it. While not getting any useful information from the smell or texture of it, Victor decides to taste it. He takes the fleaker containing the remaining two hundred and fifty mg of powder, shot-gunning it back.

Two minutes later, he's on the phone with Charles, his white shirt stained from blue dye and his hair sticking up at all odds and ends.]

[ it's not often that nyota goes to parties, especially within the thick on midterms, and when she does, it's usually to follow gaila and make sure she's not getting into trouble (which is inevitable) and to watch out for her if she finds herself in it, especially since she usually doesn't realize when she is.

so she'd come along tonight, had even let gaila pick out an outfit and fix her hair and makeup. for all her overprotection, they'd gotten separated almost immediately, and nyota had searched for a while before giving up and grabbing a brownie for a snack. she can't remember much of what happened after that at the moment, or reuniting with gaila, but she's now lying across the couch in tony stark's sitting room, her head in her foster sister's lap.

[ charles is a little unhinged, so high he's lost his usual sense of control. it happens sometimes, when he's alone: his tendency to overestimate his ability to maintain his usual calm doubly backfires when he smokes too much, all at once. now he's attempting not to panic and find something that will relax him, but he feels trapped in his own mind and unable to find a way out of the labyrinth of his thoughts. usually erik would be the first person he texts, but they're still strained what with the whole shaw situation. for a soothing presence, his next choice is obvious. ]
