They can look past the blood on your hands and the bad decisions weighing on your shoulders. It's you they care about, not your history. Actually, they may even love you, though you can't begin to fathom why. He's come to her office, injured from some kind of grievous battle, from the looks of it, and she's quick to tend and care for his wounds without asking too much. Yet, when she's cleaning him up and sewing wounds closed, she takes notice to scars of battle as well as his strength... Almost like Genji or Gabriel when he was still with them...*

All the effort to find Hraesvelgr and plead with him to help end the terrible war was for naught. Weeks and weeks out in the wilds, freezing in the cold, lashed by bitter winds, lightheaded from breathing thin air, and... they had gained nothing but a clear picture of Ishgard's sins against dragonkind. Ysayle... she couldn't even make Ysayle move, the poor woman was so shattered by the dragon's truths. Estinien's determination to slay Nidhogg was... something for her and Alphinaud to follow behind, something for them to do.

By the Twelve, Dakki was so, so tired of doing. What good had all this doing done?

The Warrior of Light that stumbles alone back to Fortemps manor looks exhausted and bedraggled, and just the slightest bit lost. Alphinaud had gone to talk with Tataru. Estinien... to do dragoon things, certainly? She had a few precious moments to herself to wash and to eat and to just, maybe, try not to think too hard on everything that had come to pass. She's so exhausted that the act of tapping the snow off her boots is taking long enough that the household servants are starting to look a little concerned...
