Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... [ Even on a completely non-sexual level, there's something innately appealing about the idea of helping Mion bathe. Sure, he gets an eyeful, and there are all kinds of places his hands could go, but the parts of his brain that aren't a total pervert also appreciate the physical and emotional intimacy demonstrated when he runs his fingers through her hair or along her glistening, smooth back to make sure she's thoroughly clean.

Steve and Dick had both taken a beating out on the street tonight, and crawling back to the safe house was a bit of an effort, considering Steve was supporting some of Dick's weight along the way. He had settled Dick onto a chair, just to give him the chance to get off his feet. They weren't sure yet if he had sprained anything and how badly, if he had. Steve fell into a chair opposite Dick, letting out a small sigh of exhaustion, which just went to show how well the night had gone.

His arms hung limp off the armrests and his head draped over the back of the chair. His eyes rested closed.

"Remind me to not take a chomp from Killer Croc again, even through reinforced Kevlar." Steve managed a half-laugh and cracked open an eye as he lifted his head to gaze at Dick.

Sure, finding out that Chat was Adrien had been a shock. But he'd had the same reaction to finding out her little secret, so it hadn't been all bad.

It certainly wasn't important now, as she eased down into the warm, lightly-scented water behind her boyfriend and slid her arms around his waist, pulling him against her. "How do you get so dirty every single time?"

Life was rough in Eorzea for adventurers, especially those chosen by Hydaelyn. More than anything else it was BUSY. It was almost impossible to get time for oneself with all the different crises that broke out from time to time. It came down to individuals to make that time, and take it when they could. Not to mention knowing good people to share it with.

Anniastae had just recently changed Free Companies, leaving an older one that no longer quite felt like home to her and joined Jaune's. And lucky for her, she was just in time for a Company trip to the baths in Kugane. The good company and the food and the beds and the hot baths were just what she needed to catch a moment's relaxation.

The miqo'te sighed happily as she lounged on her belly against one of the rocks making up the edge of the bath, any particularly interesting parts of her nudity shrouded for the moment as she looked out over the ocean. The Prima Vista blocked the view of the horizon a bit but it wasn't terrible. Right now she was just happy to be here in this hot water.

"Mrrrrr, you know what would make this better? A light rain."

Conserving water is totally a thing in many cultures. So is sharing baths. Like, all the damn time!

Asher could be from one of those cultures, you can't prove he isn't. You can't prove anything about him in fact, that's part of the joy in it. Also why he doesn't think twice about sauntering into Elijah's bathroom knowing damn well the other man is already taking a bath, already getting his own belt open in the process.
