It had been a chance meeting. The girls were out on a little excursion to the countryside when near a particular farm one of their enemies struck. In the midst of the danger a young boy, later they found out was named Oscar, awoke to a power that had been dormant in him. Responding to seeing others in danger with his help the girls were able to send said enemy packing.

The problem was what to do with the boy who was younger than them. They couldn't just leave him alone. There was a high chance others would come looking for him now that he was revealed. Putting a novice like him in danger and causing trouble for this small farming community. So it was decided Oscar needed to come with them. Convincing his aunt was one thing, but where he would even stay was another. It was eventually decided he would stay with Makoto. She did live alone and could support someone else comfortably enough.

What wasn't anticipated was the awkward feelings that bubbled up. Osca didn't know if Makoto felt the same, but there was tension living alone with a girl that wasn't family. He stole glances at her and couldn't help but blush. Not to mention she was meant to teach him how to fight which meant close quarters. Something that did fluster Oscar from time to time though he did try to focus on what she was actually trying to teach him.

He was stepping out of the bathroom, having showered after one such training session. He didn't think Makoto was still in so he was stepping out in just his pants. Shirtless and still drying his hair off with a towel as he walked towards his room he wouldn't notice the fact Makoto was very much there and capable of seeing him.
