Lottie happened to be walking by humming a soft tune. She turned her head to not only see a woman with a snake tail, but she also seemed to have lost her top! That simply wouldn't do. She quickly ran over to the other girl and starts tugging off her jacket to hold out to her.

"Darlin' are you okay?"

Loretta blinked, uncertainly. She hadn't had time to charm the woman, or demand her top, or anything. She'd just been... handed a top.

"I'm fine," she muttered, coiling in on herself. "I. Lost my shirt..."

ooc: no worries!

It just couldn't be helped! This poor girl somehow lost her shirt and she didn't want any naughty eyes prying on her. Lottie gave her a bright smile.

"Well don't you worry about a thing. I'll take care of you... though it makes me wonder how you lost it in the first place."

She let out a soft hum, but shrugged it off. Covering up this cute girl was more important.

"I don't know where it went

"...Aren't you supposed to be afraid of me? I'm a monster..." Rawr. And stuff. But no, cute? Humans don't think she's cute. They think she's scary, and they avoid her.

"Honey, I've seen my best friend somehow turned into a talkin' frog and she fell for her froggy prince charmin'. I've started to realize sometimes things ain't what they seem at first," Lottie says with a giggle.

It was true too. While it was a bit strange ( okay really strange ) to see someone with a big ol' snake tail, she bets this girl has a lovely personality!

"...A frog?"

Loretta is pretty sure she's terrible. She was raised first by an amoral species. Then by pirates. Then by herself, off in the woods. Now she claims to be a pirate.

Lottie should clearly fear her, but instead she's being... nice. This is confusing. "You should be running away from me."

"Run away? Whatever for? I usually want to play the damsel in these sort of situations, but right now I kind of feel like I have to be your prince and save you from any pryin' eyes."

She huffed a little and puffed out her chest to try and make herself look stronger, but really it just made her look silly.

Loretta... laughed.

Then ducked her head and blushed.

"Monsters don't get princes." Or princesses. "We get hunted by them."

Lottie huffed again and moved in close only to wrap her arms around the other girl for a big hug.

"if by hunt you mean, hunt you down for hugs, then I'm all aboard to be that prince!"

She squirms, nervously. "...Hugs...?" It feels.

Good.

She slowly stills, and cautiously wraps her tail around Lottie's legs. "...Am I your prisoner, now?"

"Prisoner? Mmm, I'd rather think of us as friends."

Lottie beams at the other girl, still keeping her in a warm embrace. The tail around her legs felt a little... different, but it was sort of a fun unique different.

"...I've never had one of those." What is friendship? Can you taste it? Can you eat it?

"What do friends do?"

"You've never... never had a friend? Not even once??," Lottie stares at her with a horrified expression on her face before she hugs her even tighter.

"That's just so so sad! Everyone deserves at least one friend!"

She looks a little shaken, and coils her tail tighter around Lottie. "What do friends... Do?"
